Jina, one month old
Jieun's POV
"Jieun, do you think Jina is going to say appa or eomma first?"
I glanced up incredulously at the guy who was crouching down next to me to caress Jina's soft cheeks.
"Is that even a question? It's obvious that she'll say 'eomma' first!" I stuck out my tongue at him, and we both chuckled when Jina stirred in my arms. "See? She agrees."
Jimin simply rolled his eyes. "Ugh, she's going to call me appa first, let's bet."
"Deal. How much?" I challenged him, and saw him smirk wider.
"Whoever loses has to buy Jina an expensive doll house." He suggested, but I crinkled my nose.
"Eww no, why a doll house? You're being a stereotype, Park Jimin."
Jimin scoffed at my answer. "Oh, if you're so good at this, you suggest then!"
I narrowed my eyes at him as I thought hard of what to bet on.
"I know! Whoever loses has to buy her ice-creams whenever she wants it. Until we both die."
"You're no fun, Jieun." He shook his head disapprovingly, but nevertheless agreed to the bet.
"You go get your jams, sir." I retorted, and he shot me a dramatic look by placing his hands on his heart, as if he was hurt. Chuckling, I rolled my eyes at him. "You're such a drama queen."
"Only for you." He winked, and I didn't hesitate to kick him off the couch we were both seated on.

Jina, five months old
"A-appa."
I dropped my spoon when I heard Jina mutter her first word.
The guy who was next to me mirrored the expression I had on my face, and he instantly broke into a grin.
"You lose!" He mocked before scurrying towards Jina who was playing with her baby toys on the mat.
Grumbling, I continued to stir my drink and headed towards them.
"I'm so gonna boast this to the other guys." Namjoon was still grinning, his dimples prominent on both sides of his cheeks.
"I hate you. And Jimin is going to hate you too." I directed my words towards the tall man who was tickling my daughter, making her a giggling mess.
"Why Jimin?" He looked up at me.
"We made a bet who would Jina call first." I pouted, and glared playfully at Jina who was being oblivious. "You betrayer. How dare you betray your eomma."
"You're evil, of course she's going to betray you." Namjoon didn't even hesitate to take Jina's side.

Jina, six months old
"I was gone for only one month! One month! And Jina had already said her first word and it wasn't directed towards me."
The guys and I shared the same judgemental look as we all stared at Seokjin who was being dramatic for no apparent reason in the coffee shop we were all at.
Jina was getting cradled in Yoongi's arms, and she was sleeping soundly while sucking her pacifier.
"Why would it be you? You're being ridiculous, hyung." Taehyung commented, and the said guy instantly glared at him.
