Jina, 21 years old

Jungkook's POV

I was adjusting the sunglasses on my nosebridge in the car when my peripheral vision caught someone running towards me from a distance.

Lifting my head up, I chortled when I saw how angry and embarrassed Jina looked as she stormed towards my car, which was oh-so-conveniently, and might I add, purposely, parked in front of her campus gate.

I knew how much Jina loved to stay low, but the hyungs and I just loved to tease her.

"Oppa! How many times have I told you not to pick me up with Seokjin appa's sports car! I prefer your pickup truck." Jina grumbled as soon as she slammed the door close, her cheeks and ears red.

"Hey, why would I turn down the offer of being able to drive this sweetheart? It's a freaking Lamborghini, Jina." I retorted as I shifted the gear, and a goofy smile broke on my face when the engine started roaring as I stepped on the pedal.

"Stop it!" Jina cried as she hid her face behind her hands, and I laughed before listening to her and started to drive like what a decent normal human would.

When we were on the road, Jina spoke. "Oppa, where are we going?"

"I need your help with something." I sheepishly admitted, and I chuckled when a dramatic gasp escaped from her.

"Are you gonna finally propose!? After all these years of me pestering you to get married!" Jina started clapping her hands, the glee on her face evidently shining brightly.

"Yeah, Areum and I have agreed not to have kids, that's why we didn't rush anything." I explained, and the thought of my long-time girlfriend made my heart warm. "I want the best for her, and since you're the youngest in the family, I assume that you know all the latest tricks and stuff right?"

Jina laughed. "Of course. I would do everything I can to help you plan the best proposal ever! I'm so happy for you, oppa."

"Well, let's see what you can do for me then."

I was flabbergasted by the ideas Jina had been going on and on for a few hours now, my mouth opened wide as I stared at her writing down the said ideas on her notebook with a pen.

We were currently in a small cozy café near Namjoon hyung's office, and I had been staring at the young adult for as long as she had been talking since the beginning.

Unknowingly, I started to reminisce the times when she could barely walk or talk a very long time ago.

From an adorable baby to a mischievous toddler, only to then grow even more from a rebellious teenager to a beautiful young adult... man, just by thinking how much she had grown made me wanna tear up.

Time really did fly with her growing up everyday by our sides.

"You know how in the movies, there will always be fairy lights? Fairy lights never go out of style!"

"Yes, we would need lots and lots of flowers too. What kind of flowers does Areum unnie like?"

"What's your budget? Wait, scratch that. You're rich so why did I bother asking that."

"Where should it be at? Where did you two go for your first date?"

My mind was clustered with both nostalgic memories and exciting imaginations of the proposal by the end of the day, with Jina still blabbering nonstop about how the proposal would take place this weekend.

"We should leave, your mum will be worried if we return home late." I gently reminded her after finishing our dine-in dinner, and smiled when she nodded her head obediently.

I could never forget how rebellious she was back then, how she had gotten us so worried that we had barged into a club to save her.

Ever since that incident, Jina had grown closer to Jieun noona, and of course, with us as well.

Watching her mature into a beautiful woman, was probably the proudest thing I had ever seen in my entire life.

"Oppa, is that... Namjoon appa?"

Jina's words snapped me back to reality, and my eyes widened at where she was glancing at, perspiration oozing out from my pores as I watched the said man grinning softly at a woman next to him while entering the café together.

"Namjoon appa has a girlfriend?!" Jina shrieked, her hand flying towards her mouth to cover her surprised gasp, knocking the cup over the table and onto the floor, causing a loud noise to resonate in the café.

Everyone turned their gazes towards us, including my older hyung who looked just as shocked as Jina was, their eyes staring into each other's.

"Jina?" Namjoon hyung blurted, his feet bringing both him and the woman towards us, their hands still intertwined together.

"Appa." Jina muttered, her widened eyes shaking in surprise.

Namjoon hyung spared a glance at me, and a sigh escaped from his mouth.

Tugging the woman's hand, he spoke while looking at Jina. "Jina, meet Jang Doyoung, my.. fianceé."

Okay, even I wasn't expecting this.

I knew that he had a girlfriend, but since when was she his fianceé?!

I gasped. "You're engaged?!"

"Why didn't you tell us? Wait, was I the only one who didn't know about this?" Jina asked, her eyes darting from hyung to me, and I could tell that she was disappointed when her face dropped.

"Jina-"

My sentence got cut off. "Are all of you dating or... even married? Why didn't you all tell me?"

"Well..." Namjoon hyung started, his fianceé patting his arm to comfort him, "It's been a while since we last had a family gathering together. Besides, you know very well that we are no longer young, and I know that both your mum and you are our family, but we still need to build our own families you know? I hope you can understand."

Jina was quiet for a moment before breaking into a smile.

"I'm happy for you all, really. Just one thing appa." Jina crossed her arms, a stance she always did whenever she wanted to demand something.

"Yeah?"

"Can I meet all the women who have been supporting my dads all this time?" Jina beamed, and I felt my heart tug suddenly, a choking feeling stuck in my throat as I registered her words.

"W-what? You want to meet all of us?"

It was hyung's fianceé who had expressed her surprise out loud, and she looked extremely confused when the three of us started to giggle.

"Dear, this is the daughter I've been proudly boasting to you about. Isn't she great?" Namjoon hyung was gazing fondly at her, and he grinned even wider when she blushed and nodded fervently.

"You're just as amazing as what Joon has been telling me about." She smiled, more comfortably now, and offered a hug towards Jina which the latter had gladly accepted. "I'm so happy that Joon has such a wonderful daughter like you."

Jina chuckled. "It's a quirky trait of mine from growing up with seven dads and a mum."

"Why are you two here? It's late and Jina should be home already, Jungkook." Namjoon hyung lectured all of a sudden, and I instantly pouted, not caring whether I was too old for this or not.

"He needed my help with his proposal this weekend!" Jina exposed the truth, making the couple cheer in joy before pulling me into a tight embrace.

"Finally! I've been waiting for this day to happen since years ago." Namjoon hyung cried, and I chuckled, slightly ashamed by the affection these three were giving me at a public area.

"You know what, I have a great idea!" Jina chirped excitedly.

"What?"

"The appas should bring their significant others to witness Jungkook oppa's proposal!"

I gulped.
