and then life went on. friday morning. thank god. this week was strait trash so far. i got to school a few minutes early because i didn't take the bus. mrs marble, our homeroom teacher, told me that it was time to go set up for mass. per usual, i went down and set up and then she asked me if i could help the sixth grades altar serve. "yea sure" i replied with a slight hesitation. all went well. we were done with communion and waiting for father jay to give us our signal. rylan and i had been staring at each other the entire mass. it was drop dead silent in the church. rylan and i locked eyes again. he then motioned "i love you". i almost died. i mouthed "i love you" back and that made the staring even more intense. mass ended and we went back to class. first hour. music with mr hartford. he is one of my favorite teachers. he was sarcastic and didn't care if he hurt your feelings. we had to practice our play for our christmas program. we ran it through beautifully. then it was back to mrs barkley. the only good thing about this is it's rylan's home room. that meant note passing. and a lot of it.
