so before we go any deeper into the story, let's get a little more background information. so I go to a rich kid private school. there are about 150 kids in the entire school. that means that there are about 50 kids in the middle school. rumors and gossip are talked for weeks among everyone. if you tell someone something, you know its going to get leaked. our class consisted of 16 people. I was "friends" with most of them. oh and Bella and I weren't talking. we despised each other. she was part of the "cool kids group" and I was just one of the peasants who was a no one. she was "friends" with the queen bee of the school, Mya. Mya's best friend was Alana. Alana was pretty cool. we talked when she wasn't around mya. then the boys of the crowd. Jack, Levi, and Evan. I floated back and forth with them. one day I was part of them then the next day, I was no body. I got pretty used to that. I soon found out that Levi and Bella had a crush on each other. I also had a huge crush on Levi, but honestly he was irresistible. then came the big trip of the year, bay sail. bay sail was huge. you got on a bus and drove an hour to saginaw and got on a ship and sailed around all day. I was excited but nervous on what category I would fall into that day. in the morning, I was a nobody. during dinner, Levi sat next to me. I almost had a panic attack. on the way home, the "cool" kids played a game of truth or dare. I just listened. we found out that jack had a massive crush on mya. she was probably the most stunning person ever. too bad she's a bitch. she was curvy with brown hair and hazel eyes that melted your soul. she expected everyone to bow down to her. if you did, you were one of her "friends". if not, she hated you. I refused to bow down to her. my entire friend group did. we couldn't stand her. I played volleyball with her and I was about the same level as her. she was two years older than me. she hated that and me. in the championship game, I set her up with a beautiful set and she spiked it right into the net. of course, she is perfect, so I got a bunch of backlash. Normal gossip in a normal school would last three days, then everyone got over it and something new came about. they also have five times as many kids. everything was talked about for WEEKS. once Levi found out, game over. everyone knew. he was a walking reality tv show. Thursdays, the worst day of the week and not just because it was one of the worst days of the week. it was all because of the schedule for that day. we would go to technology, which was bad in the first place but then put Bella and Levi next to each other, it all goes to hell. they would mess around and whisper things about me that they thought I couldn't hear. I sat across from them. that only lasted about half the year before we got a seating chart and they were put on opposite sides of the room. after that, we would go to French. our teacher was amazing. we learned like five things all year. we didn't care, but the seating chart. levi was put right in between Bella and I with Evan on the other side of Bella. they would gossip even more and make me a meme between them. throughout the year, my crush on Levi got stronger. one day, the French teacher switched Bella and Levi's seats. that meant that Levi and evan were right next to each other witch all they talked about was Rich the Kid and Kobe Bryant. Bella was a wizard in French. I mainly gave up caring because she always gave me a good grade anyways. one day, we had a French quiz that Levi and I didn't study for. we assumed that Bella would be there for us to cheat off of. Bella didn't show up. we were screwed. we both got a D on the test. luckily, everyone cheated off of Bella and the people surrounding Bella. we all failed it. we got to retake it which was cool because Bella was there that day. then the end of the year came, which meant summer break. over the summer, I found out that Levi wouldn't be coming back and boy, was that a relief. I started talking to Bella more and she realized that we were really similar. we became best friends. that brings you up to speed on what brought us into this situation.
