Grayson's POV
Getting a text from Elle asking if she could come over to talk made me happy as hell but also nervous as hell.
This was it.
I was finally going to tell her how I really felt about her, and hopefully she feels the same.
I was knocked out of my thoughts by someone knocking at the door
Here goes nothing.
I open the door to reveal Elle in all her glory dressed in tight black ripped skinny jeans with a jean jacket and thigh high black leather boots with her long chocolate hair down in waves.
She looks gorgeous.
But when I look to her face it's emotionless.
Oh no.
"Uh hey" I say with uncertainty clear in my voice but she just pushes past me and sits on the couch
Alright then.
I close the front door and cautiously take a seat next to her but not to close
"I'm really glad you- nope you don't get to talk just listen" she snaps cutting me off and I recoil
Uh okay.
I stay quiet and wait for her to continue and what she says next makes me want to hide and never come out again
"I talked to James" she says making me blood turn cold
"Oh uh that's great Elle" I say reluctantly
"Isn't it? But you know what was even more great?" She asks in a mocking tone and I shrug
"He told me everything" She says
This can't be happening.
"Which is?" I ask
"Oh you know, just the fact that the reason he stood me up was because of you! In fact, the reason why every guy I've ever liked never pursues me is because of you!" He shouts angrily
Fuck.
"Look Elle I can expl- explain what?! Explain why you've ruined every relationship I could've ever had?!" She screams cutting me off
"I did it because I love you!" I shout and she stiffens but her face quickly turns angry again
"Ugh how dare you!" She shouts grabbing her bag and making her way to the door
Oh I don't think so.
"What?! What did I say?!" I shout blocking her from the door
"How dare you just throw around the L word like it's nothing!" She shouts
"What the hell are you talking about?! I mean it!" I shout
"Oh like how you meant it with Briana, and Beth and Emily?!" She snaps
"Oh my gods it's not the same!" I yell
"Oh it's not?! I've known you for four years of my life Grayson and know damn well you don't have a single romantic bone in your body! All you care about is sex because like all guys you're a pig!" She shouts
She fucking infuriates me.
"That's not true! Yeah I'll admit I haven't been the best boyfriend to those girls but it's because I didn't love them they way I love you! And don't you insult me you have no right!" I growl angrily
"Stop it! Stop saying that!" She shouts
"What?! That I love you?!" I shout
"Ugh yes stop!" She shouts
"No! I'm not gonna stop because it's true! I love you! I've loved you since Freshman fucking year and I still do to this day! I'm so damn in love with you and nothing is gonna change that! I shout and she covers her face with her hands before ripping them away
"Why now huh?! Why wait until now to tell me?! She shouts
"Because I'm a fucking coward. I was afraid that if I told you you wouldn't feel the same way and it'd ruin everything between us" I say in a calmer tone
"Yeah well you know what?! I don't!" She shouts before trying to push me away from the door to be able to leave but I don't budge
"Oh don't even try to lie! Kim told me you had a crush on me!" I shout and she gasps in shock
"What the fuck!" She shouts
"Yeah so don't try lying!" I yell
"Oh yeah? Well did she also tell you that that stupid crush ended a long ass time ago during Sophomore year?!" She shouts and I laugh
"Yeah she did, to bad I don't buy it" I say with a laugh and her eyes narrow
"I hate you" she growls
The only reason that didn't hurt me was because I know she doesn't mean it.
"Yeah? Well I love you. And I'm not gonna apologize for pushing those guys away from you" I growl back and she groans in frustration
"Let me out" She demands but I don't budge
"Grayson let me out" She says her voice becoming angrier but I still don't move
"Grayson!" She shouts
"No Gabriella!" I shout and she gasps
I haven't said her full name since I've met her.
"If you don't let me out right now not only will I kill you but I will never ever talk to you again" she threatens
"You don't mean that"
"I do. Let me out now." She says angrily and I do
I watch her make her way to her car before deciding to speak again
"So What that's it? Me confessing my feelings for
You means nothing to you?!" I shout standing next to her car and she stops in her tracks and she takes a deep breath before speaking
"I'm sorry but I just don't feel the same way. The faster you get through your head the easier this will be for all of us" she says calmly and I feel as if someone just kicked me in the stomach.
With one last glance she gets in her car and drives off leaving me there completely heartbroken.
