The next morning Both Phlox and Cheryl got ready for the day. They both knew what was coming.. they both knew what pain would come across them soon. Cheryl knew she would face it head-on with Phlox by her side.
It didn't happen till they both sat in biology class. While everyone talked, they sat silently. Under the desk, their hands clung together. Cheryl looked to her right and saw how anxious Phlox was. With a silent sigh, she gripped the girl's hand tighter. The sound of the door caused them both to looked up and when they did all air left their lungs. The once noisy class fell silent as everyone stared at Sheriff Keller and principal Weatherbee. Phlox felt Cheryl pull her up. "You're here for us, aren't you? Because of the autopsy? Her usual guarded voice sounds heavy with fear. When the blond heard this she held tighter. She could feel the bright red nails dig into her skin but she didn't care. Sheriff Keller glazed around the class. "We don t have to do this in front of your classmates." Principal Weatherbee assured the girls but Cheryl ignored him. With a shake, of her head "it's all right, Principal Weatherbee. They'll find out soon enough." Keller tried to step forward and stop but Jughead Jones was quick to ask what. Shocking it was Phlox who spoke her usual cheerful voice sounded broken."That we're guilty."

After the wonderful day, Phlox the Blossoms. Phlox sat in her room. Next to her were flowers that she had cut earlier today. They might have meant nothing to some people but to her this was everything. For they would be the best gift to someone soon. Sadly the flowers were the last thing in her mind. Penelope's words ring through her ears. The cruel toxic words were something that she could never forget. Unknown to her more pain was about to come to the girl next door.

*Third Person*

Cheryl Blossom stood next to veronica. She was dying to move away from the new girl knock off but she stood her ground. They all looked down to see the playbook. It a sick thing that shouldn't be but it was. They all looked at how many names were on that list. While everyone's mind was on Polly Cooper, Cheryl's was on phlox's. Yes her name was printed down on the paper. That wasn't the only thing though. without thinking Cheryl hurriedly walked towards the exit. Pulling out her phone she quickly called phlox.

It took Cheryl almost 20 minutes to get to the Summers household or mansion either one would work. When she did she saw only one light on. The bedroom. A room they all three love to be in.  the room that they spent time together. It didn't take Cheryl long to get to the bedroom. That's how they spent their rest of the night. In each other arms. Too scared to let go.
