Chapter 11: Wedding

so basically this is just a time skip to the day before the wedding and the actual wedding

Third POV

Nancy, El, and Max we're going to help Joyce find a wedding dress. Nancy, El and Max were currently waiting for Joyce to come out and show her next dress.

"So El, when's your wedding?" Max asked in a teasing tone

"With who?" El asked as if she was oblivious

"My brother of course" Nancy said.

"Oh, never"

"Why?!" Max said/yelled.

"He probably doesn't even want to marry me." El said as she twiddled her fingers together

"Bullshit. He totally does" Nancy said

"I don't want to talk about this anymore. What about you and Lucas?" El said looking at Max.

"I don't know, it's going ok." Max said with a smile on her face.

"Sureeeee it's only going ok" El said.

"Look Joyce is coming out." Max said looking in her direction. Joyce came out in a white, long sleeve dress.

"Oh my god yes!" The 3 girls screamed in unison. Joyce looked at herself in the mirror and smiled. She brushed down the tule of the dress.

"Sooooo what do you think?" Max asked.

"I love it, I think this is it." Joyce said with a bright smile spread across her face. El and Max jumped up and started dancing happily while Nancy and Joyce laughed.

"Well what are you waiting for?! Go change and let's buy it!" Nancy said with excitement.

"Ok, ok!" Joyce said, rushing to the changing room.

*meanwhile at the tuxedo rental store*

Mike, Will, Lucas, Dustin, and Jonathan were waiting for Hopper to pick out a tux.

"So Mikeeeeee" Lucas said.

Mike rolled his eyes and snapped his head towards him. "What?"

"Have you picked out a data yet?" Lucas said in a teasing tone.

"Nope, switching subjects. How's Max, Lucas?" Mike said, changing the subject as fast as possible.

"She's fine, what about it?" Lucas said crossing his arms. Jonathan just shook his head at the two bickering children.

"Well at least you two have girlfriends, Me and Will are single and lonely." Dustin said, holding his hand up for Will to high five, which he did. While the 5 boys kept talking, Hopper walked out of the changing room. Hopper stood there in his black and white tux as he waited for someone to notice him. He cleared his throat and the boys snapped their heads towards him.

"Wow chief, looking snazzy" Dustin said.

"I'm going to have to agree with Dustin here on this one" Jonathan stated.

"Yeah, yeah. Ok i like it, let's go. This place gives me a weird vibe" Hopper said as he headed back to the dressing room to get changed back into his regular clothes. After hopper had changed they all went to the register, paid for the tux, and left the store.

Since it was the day before the wedding joyce and hopper had to sleep apart, much to the annoyance of one Jim Hopper. They had arranged for El, Max, and Nancy to sleep with joyce at her house, and Mike, Dustin, Lucas, Will, Jonathan, and Steve for some apparent reason, to sleep with Hopper at his cabin.
