third POV
It's a sunday afternoon and Mike and El are cuddling on the couch watching star wars.
"Oh El"
"Yeah?" El said while looking up at him
"I forgot to tell you, im getting my wisdom teeth out tomorrow>"
"Wisdom teeth?" El asked in confusion.
"It's the teeth in the back of your mouth that need to come out. So they are going to make me go to sleep so it won't hurt at all and then they are going to take them out"
"It won't hurt you?"
"Not one bit and the medicine they give me to make me go to sleep will make me act funny so if I act weird don't be concerned. It's all supposed to happen"
"Can I come with you and wait till you're done. I want to see you act funny" El said chuckling.
"If you want to sure" Mike said also chuckling.
"Now come on we're missing star wars"
"Ok" El said laying back down on his lap.
time skip to when mike goes to the dentist hehe
"I'm kind of scared, not going to lie" Mike said chuckling. El squeezed his hand.
"You'll be fine and i'll be waiting here when you get back" The dentist called Mike so they could start his surgery.
"Ok I got to go." Mike said nervously.
"Everything will be fine" El pecked him on the lips. "Now go" Mike let go of her hand and went with the doctor. El sat down in the waiting room.
"So, you've got a girlfriend I assume." The doctor asked mike as they were prepping him. Mike's eyes brightened.
"Yeah I do"
"What's she like?" The doctor said putting on his mask and gloves.
"She's the most beautiful, funniest, kindest, strongest person I've ever met and she cares for everything and everyone and she always listens to my star wars jokes and-"
"Woah there, you sound like you're really in love with her"
"Yeah, I am" Mike admitted with a blush.
"Ok, we're going to put you to sleep now can you count back from 11" Mike smiled at the number 11 as they put the gas mask over his face.
"11" Mike said groggily before he drifted off into a peaceful sleep dreaming about his beautiful girlfriend.
"Mike, mike wake up." Mike heard faintly he opened his eyes and say the doctor above him and his mother to the side of him.
"What's going on" Mike said.
"You just had surgery" The doctor told him.
Mike then put his hand up to his face but it was numb. He pulled his hand away from his mouth and there was blood on it. His eyes widened.
"Oh shit, I'm bleeding"
"Michael, language"
"Sorry" Mike said while laughing.
"Why do i feel all weird?" Mike gasped. "ARE WE IN SPACE LIKE IN STAR WARS?!"
"Unfortunately not. The medicine will wear off in about 3 hours and dont give him any solid food or hot drinks for the next 5 hours." The doctor told Karen.
