Blake already missed California.
After school, Blake and Reese went back to his house. Reese helped him finish up packing his suitcases, making sure to slip in a picture of himself. Blake and him were locked up in his room, their own little world, until they had to leave for the airport. Reese drove him in his beloved Jeep while his parents drove Amelia and her absurd amount of suitcases.
Reese drove with one hand on the steering wheel and the other laced with Blake's with a death grip. "Do you have everything you need?"
"Yes."
"Are you sure? I can turn around—"
"Reese! You double-checked everything, my mom triple-checked, then you went back added more things and checked again." Blake laughed and squeezed his hand. "What're you worried about, man? I'll find some pretty little thing in New York?"
Reese gave him a serious look as he parked in one of the back parking spots, "guess I'll just have to mark you then." He unbuckled and leant over attaching his lips to Blake's neck, sucking and biting on the sensitive skin, moving down and pushing his skirt off his shoulder and repeating the process, again on his upper chest. Blake gripped Reese's arm and bit his own lip, Reese's lips were branding his neck.
"D-don't start something you can't finish," Blake pushed him away to try and regulate his heartbeat again.
"Who says I can't finish?"
"I have to go through security."
Reese sulked, "you could always not go." Blake couldn't help but find him a little cute when he pouted.
Blake got out of the Jeep and pulled out his two suitcases, "come see me off." Reese got out of the car and helped him with one of his bags. His ticket was in his carry on and he had plenty of schoolwork to keep him busy on the five hour flight.
Going through security took a little under an hour, Reese went up to the gate with Blake, Amelia was still stuck in security, so before Blake boarded he made sure to pull Reese into one last brief kiss. "I'll see you in two weeks." With that, he walked away and boarded his plane, glancing over his shoulder to see Reese watching him leave.
God, I don't want to go.
Nevertheless, he boarded and took the window seat, ten minutes later, Amelia sat next to him with a bright smile. "Five hours of complete relaxation."
"Shouldn't you be working on your public relations paper?"
"Meh. I can do it next week."
Blake rolled his eyes and opened his own textbook and pulled out his notebook. He knew by the end of their little vacation she'd be pulling an all-nighter to through together her paper and get maybe a C+ on it. He had a week's worth of work, he was working through it as quickly as possible so he could sleep the break away, not even turbulence could affect him.
When the started descending to the Big Apple, he had finished nearly three days of classwork. Two days left. Baggage claim was complete and total shit, it took forever, Grandpa and Gran met up with them, holding a welcome sign coloured brightly.
Gran was young at heart, she had silver hair with strands of black hinting at her original colour and she wore long skirts and floral shirts. Gramps was kind of stoic and was really nerdy when he was younger, thick glasses were perched on his nose and his closet consisted of khakis and plaid shirts.
"Mia! Blake!" Gran cried and hugged them eagerly, "look how much taller you've gotten Blake! Mia you look just like your mother! Let's go get breakfast on our way home." Gramps hugged Amelia and patted Blake's shoulder with a nod.
