Gosh! He's such a cute bean!↑

There was only a month until graduation.

Gabe couldn't believe that high school was practically over already. It went by so fast and he was going to take a year off before applying to colleges to be an English major. Archie had been acting really weird lately, so had Reese.

Reese came back from New York unable to stop smiling, constantly in a daze or on the phone with Blake. A silver ring hung from his necklace and he'd fiddle with it all the time with a dreamy smile. Gabe just assumed it was a gift from Blake.

Archie would stare at Gabe then say it was nothing, he was jumpy and on edge around Gabe. It was freaking Gabe the hell out. What if he wanted to break up? Dory and Nikki had just broken up after a couple years, maybe Archie was dumping him to go on tour with the band or elope with some chick.

Nikki told him that there wasn't anything to worry about, Sandy and Mom said the same thing. Everyone reassured him except for Archie, but then again, Gabe never asked Archie if he was going to break up with him, scared he'd say yes.

Dory had been living at his house like a bum, moping about his break up and wallowing in self-pity. Gabe did not want to end up like that. He sat in Percy's studio that she rented out with the rest of the band members to rehearse. Archie, Alex, and Ian were loading up the speakers for a concert.

"Has Archie said anything about breaking up with me?" Gabe blurted out. He was getting way too anxious over this.

Percy raised her eyebrows, "why would you even think that? That dumbass is crazy for you."

Gabe twisted his hands nervously, "he's been avoiding me, it feels like he's hiding from me. I'm just worried, that's all."

"Have you talked to him?"

Shaking his head quickly, "n-no way! I don't want to bring it up and seem insecure or worse, him actually confirming it."

Percy ruffled his hair with a smile, "you got nothing to worry about, kid. I can guarantee he loves you." Smirking, "have you thought about what college you want to go to?"

"No, but I do want to study English, maybe become a teacher."

A weird smile, "have you thought about going abroad? Say, I dunno, maybe the Netherlands?"

Astounded, "what? No! I couldn't leave Archie, I saw what going abroad did to Nikki and Dory's relationship."

"What if he went with you?" She prodded.

He was about to respond when the guys came back up, Archie looked at him oddly, "what are you guys talking about?"

Percy stood up, winking at Gabe, "college. Asked him what he thought about going abroad." Archie gave her a weird look and Percy just laughed as she left to get into the van with Ian and Alex.

Gabe went downstairs with Archie, sitting in the passenger seat of his truck. Archie began driving, thankfully, this concert was nearby compared to when they went to Arizona during Christmas break.

"So, you would go abroad?" Archie asked, his eyes fixed on the road.

Gabe jolted from his thoughts, "no, I wouldn't want to leave you."

Archie's knuckles tightened on the steering wheel, "what if I went with you?"

Stifling a laugh, "what are you talking about, Arch? Your life is here."

Lacing their fingers together on the centre console, "my life is wherever you are."

They didn't discuss anything further on the topic. At the venue, the audience was already gathering and Gabe was well-known by now. He greeted a couple regulars and sat at the bar drinking a soda because he was underage as well as Archie's designated driver.

As the speakers and microphones got set up, Archie was on stage telling bad jokes to keep the crowd entertained. He began, "what do you call a cow without legs?" His eyes flitted to Gabe in the back and he smiled while Gabe just smirked and rolled his eyes. Archie's smile was infectious. The punchline, "ground beef!"

When the band began performing, Gabe loved to watch Archie hype up the audience, being able to bring such a large group of people alive. He was energetic as always and Gabe couldn't take his eyes off him.

Their set ended and Archie remained on stage, "can the love of my life join me on stage? He knows who he is, but in case anyone's wondering, it's the cutie at the bar. About yay high and pretty eyes and light brown hair."

People turned and stared at Gabe, clapping and cheering. Gabe had gotten used to this long ago, but it wasn't their anniversary or anyone's birthday so why did he want Gabe on the stage? Archie leant down offering a hand to help Gabe on stage which he accepted. He was greeted with a light peck.

Archie got down on one knee, holding out a ring. "Just say yes."

Gabe covered his mouth with his hands in shock, his heart had leapt into his throat and tears beaded his eyes. He couldn't speak so he just nodded, eventually managing to choke out, "yes!"

The rocker slipped the ring on Gabe's slender finger and swiped him up in his arms as he got back on his feet, kissing him, pouring all his feelings into one kiss. The audience was cheering for them, put back on the ground, Gabe stood in Archie's embrace.

"Marry me, Gabriel. Move to Amsterdam with me and become my husband," Archie whispered in his ear. Gabe was taken by surprise, he stared into Archie's clear, blue eyes that held so much love for him. He said once more, "just say yes."

In response, Gabe kissed him. A couple tears escaping down his cheeks, "yes."

They were backstage and Archie let out a breath, "I've been so nervous about this for a while!"

"Is that why you were so weird these past couple months?"

A guilty look, "I thought you would figure out what I was going to do."

Gabe punched his shoulder, "I thought you were going to dump me!"

Pulling him close, Archie chuckled and kissed him. "Never. You have to stay with me forever."

Gabe exhaled before being swept up in another passionate kiss, "yes."
