It was a very casual dance.

I was dressed in black leggings and a white tee shirt. Henry wore jeans and a black tee shirt.

"It's good to see you again," Dakota told me quietly as he sat down on the table next to me.

"You too," I smile lightly. "The kids here are... weird."

"Why aren't you coming here for school?" Tim asked.

"I don't want too," I shrug with a small smile. "School is just drama. And stress."

"Very true," Kenny agreed. "You told her about Kenzie, Brynn, and Sarah, right?" Kenny asked Henry.

"Yeah," he nodded. "I told her you'd distract them," Henry laughed a little.

"Well then you might not want to turn around," Kenny chuckled. I looked over Henry's shoulders, seeing two girls approaching us. One had blonde hair and blue eyes, but had a vibe to her that made me uncomfortable. The other one had brown hair and blue eyes, and had a very "perfect" vibe to her.

"Kenny please," Henry whispered.

"Let's see what they have to say," I smiled as I grabbed Henry's hand, he instinctively came to my side and sat down on the table. I'm not really a jealous type, I believe that if you can't trust somebody then you can't be together. I trust Henry.

"We thought you weren't going to the dance," the brown haired girl said.

"I never said that Kenz." Henry said simply, holding onto my hand a little tighter.

"You said you didn't want to go with us," she spoke a little louder.

"Yeah. Because I don't.... I already had a date." He didn't let go of my hand.

"This girl?" Kenzie asked. She looked me up and down, her face scrunching a little. Henry gave Kennedy a look.

"Brynn, Kenzie," Kenny smiled a little. He walked up to them, draping his arms around their shoulders. "Let's go dance." He smiled a classic quarterback-looking smile, one of those "perfect men" smiles. They both looked at him and nearly melted.

"Okay," Brynn giggled as he walked away with them.

"Oh how many times he's done that for you," James said with a small laugh.

"He likes the attention," Henry said as he watched the girls with an angry-ish look. "I'm sorry," he whispered under his breath.

"Don't apologize," I whispered back, looking up at him. "You're attractive, that's gonna happen. I trust you."

"Thanks," he smiled a little. He looked up. I looked where his attention was. The music stopped.

"Attention please!" Ezekiel said through the microphone. Everybody stopped and looked up at him. "I'm very thankful for another year with you guys, acing your tests and building the foundation for a better society. This dance is always in thanks for all your hard work the past year." Ezekiel went on with his speech, that was very heartwarming. Some overemotional people even started crying. After wards, he finished with a 'thank you' and everybody cheered. The music began playing again, and everybody looked happy.

"C'mon," Henry smiled, grabbing my hand as we walked over to the dancing crowd.

I was actually having fun. We ended up all going as a group to the cafeteria to get drinks. Kenny and James got us soda and brought it over to the table. Ezekiel and Carol were chaperones, standing in the corner, talking amongst themselves.
