"Man of the hour," Dray smiled and dapped Messiah, "what's good, youngin'?"

"I'm coolin'. Maintaining school and baseball," Messiah ran his hand over his waves. "A nigga happy to be back home around my parts and familiarity." Dray laughed and looked at me while pointing at Messiah, "his parts? This guy," He shook his head while he handed me a beer. "My brother was saying that same shit. Their parts," he mimicked, "they're acting like they didn't go to private school and wear designer while the old heads had to thug it out with one book to two people and Walmart gear."

I laughed, "they'll never know how real it was for us growing up." It was true. They didn't have to go through half of the things we did and we ddid everything that we could to make sure they didn't. We weren't hustling for no reason. "Where San at," I took a swig of my beer while I skimmed the various faces, most of them familiar to me, that filled the living room and kitchen of Dray's condo. Since Dray's brother, Santana, and Messiah are both home from school this weekend, Dray decided to have a lil' gig at his crib.

"Shooting dice on the balcony with Chino and Mali. That lil muthafucka love gambling with money that ain't his." I shrugged, "you gave it to him. It's his one way or another."

"I'm 'bout to go holla at them," Messiah said and I nodded my head. A hand dangled over my shoulder and I looked over to see Genesis standing behind me. "Hey, you," she smiled. "I'ma grab a drink," Dray motioned his head. I turned to face Genesis, "what's up? How you?" I took the last of my beer to the head as I eyed her. Her attire held every curve closely and as a man, I admired her voluptuousness. She's thick as shit and she knows it, just like she knew that I'd be here. Her effort didn't go unnoticed it just wasn't warranted.

"I haven't heard from you in a few days. I thought we put all of that shit behind us," she tilted her head and looked up at me. I'll admit I double backed and slept with Genesis again after telling her I'd leave her alone. She said that she understood where I was coming from and that she could take what I was willing to give her. All of that relationship talk went of the window and things were like how the were when we first decided to become involved. Everything was cool so I'm trying to figure out where she's going with this conversation.

"We did, so what are you on?" I looked her over. She knitted her eyebrows, "I'm not on anything. I'm just trying to figure out why I hadn't heard from you. You never go more than two days without it, so I was just curious. If you're sleeping with someone else while sleeping with me, I'd appreciate it if you told me. It's all type of shit out here in these streets and I'm not trying to catc—" I chuckled, gathering just what her point of this conversation was. "I fucked you for months and I never slid the glove off, so what makes you think I'd give you a STD?" I asked.
