Eunwoo's POV
I had decided to return back to my dad and he looked at me as if he had already been certain about my return, saying that I would have "gotten bored" of my previous job sooner or later.
Without any argument, I just agreed with him and smiled to show how I was glad to be back.
He made me work by his side for a few months before letting me take over the company so that he'd be able to get a peaceful retirement, knowing that his company is in safe hands.
I gladly accepted his offer and continued the work he had left behind while he went on a holiday to enjoy some peace and quiet in the tropical islands.
Before he left, he wanted to gift me a house which was much nearer to the company so that I wouldn't have to drive a long route just to get to work daily.
But, I declined.
Though I said I didn't want the house because he had already done so much for me, a part of me still wanted to hold onto the person I was when I was still working in that school.
My character had definitely changed on the outside, since I was no longer dealing with teenagers but full-fledged adults who were, surprisingly, much more troublesome to deal with.
The first year or so was really stressful, and since the one taking the role of the C.E.O had the most stress to bear, it practically felt as though I was living in the office.
Soon, I got used to the stress-filled atomosphere in the office and, learnt to deal with the burden the employees subjected onto me every single day by being stricter with them so I wouldn't be the one who has to give in to the workload.
The new atmosphere worked well enough to distract me from my thoughts and I barely had time to spend for myself even when I'd be at home, so work was a pretty good distraction and let time pass by quickly.

The day started off like any other with me rushing to get to work before the morning traffic takes over the streets, and being one of the first few to get there.
With a hot cup of coffee in hand, I walked into my office to set it down and start with reviewing the scedule for the day, when one of the timeslots seemed to be unfamiliar to me. Seeing that it was the first time I saw such a task, I called up my secretary to explain to me.
"Good morning. So, I was just looking at the scedule and.. what in the world is this thing about 'Meeting Interns'? Why wasn't I notified earlier about there being interns?"
"Good morning to you too, sir. And, I'm sorry but they're interns who your father had already accepted to work for the company for a few months so that they'll understand this field of job much better."
"My father? What about me? Shouldn't you get my permission first since I'm the one in charge of what goes on in the company?"
"Well, your father was more subjected to accept the interns since he worked here for a longer period of time and knows what's best for the company since it means getting candidates who have great potential and--"
"Okay, I get that, but we already have so much work to deal with here. I can't have some interns ruining the flow of the work and giving us more work to deal with from their inexperience."
"Sir, your father already has a deal with a university to allow the students to work here as interns, so please understand."
Despite being annoyed at the extra work I will have to do, I tried my best in ending the call in the most polite way and finished my work until the time I was dreading came about.
Leaving my office, I went down to meet the interns and assign them roles, while also deciding which of the few other employees should be given the responsibility of teaching the interns.
As I stood infront of the five interns who were now under my care, I scanned each of them as briefly as I could while giving them instructions when my eyes landed on a black-haired boy who seemed to have glued his eyes to his shoes.
"You, black hair, look at me when I'm talking to you."
He flinched when he was called out, and raised his head up with guilt in his eyes. When my eyes met his, my brows furrowed on instinct upon recognising him, though he looked different from how he looked when I last saw him.
"Renjun?"
