Renjun's POV

"I don't want to go."

"Please? Just listen to me once."

"No."

"Just once, that's all I ask of you."

"But.. I don't want to stay there alone."

"I'll be there too."

"But, you'll leave after a while."

"No, I won't, it's compulsary for someone to stay there with you."

Hearing that made me relieved but I also felt bad for having to keep him there for my problems.

"I'm sorry."

He looked at me, surprised, before he grinned and ruffled my hair.
"Don't be."

He brought his phone to his ear to call up another uber to the theatre. Resting his other arm on my shoulder,  he looked around while talking on the phone. His hand was still placed on my head while he played with my hair causing me to gulp as I started to feel nervous. His gentle touch had erupted butterflies in my stomach to which I looked down and started playing with my fingers as I waited for him to finish the call.

"Alright, it's arriving soon."
He let go of my hair and sat down on the street barrier beside us.
"Anyways, how was the movie?"

I couldn't let go of the thought that I could potentially be hospitalized, and just flashed him a weak smile as I nodded my head.

"Hey. Come here."
He patted his thigh, motioning for me to sit.

Shaking my head, I pointed to the street barrier beside his and softly announced, "I'll just sit there."
I could see him pout as I walked over to the other barrier, but stopped when I felt his hand holding onto my wrist.

"That'll be too far away."

"It's only 2 metres."

He stared at me for a while as his mouth opened to say something, but he closed it back and motioned for me to go ahead.

I trudged over to the other barrier and sat down on it, facing the street. I could see from my peripheral vision that he had turned towards me and was staring at me.

"What?"

"Huh? Oh, nothing."
I frowned at his answer, starting to get annoyed when I still felt his gaze on me even after a good few minutes.

"What is your problem, old man? Why do you keep staring at me?"

He sighed loudly before leaning back and extending his legs out to stretch.
"Don't call me that."

"I don't know what else to call you."

"Seeing that I'm older than you, 'Hyung' would be a great option."

".. Hyung, what's your name?"

"Cha Eunwoo."
He reached out his hand for a handshake but quickly retreated it and scratched the back of his ear awkwardly.
"Habits, I guess," he muttered, knowing well that I was too far away from him for a handshake.

I got up from where I was sitting and walked over to him as I started feeling cold. Raising both his arms, I sat down on his lap, a little above his knees, and leaned back comfortably to face the road. I wrapped his arms around me and snuggled into his body for heat.

I could feel his gaze on my face and looked up to see him staring down at me.

"Why are you still staring?"
