Passing the corridor, where farmers sold their fruits, vegetables, meats, cheeses, and sometimes prepared foods, you entered the Hall and smiled to the Ragnarsson brothers as they did the same.

"Hello Ubbe," you turn to look at Sigurd and smirk. "Sigurd,"

You reach to grab his cup of ale and take a sip. "Wait," you pause looking at him. "If you're here, who's scaring away the crows from our crops?"

Ubbe chuckled as he took a bite of his bread and turned his attention to the blond Prince who rolled his eyes. "Maybe you did, once you walked towards their direction."

"Wow, jokes implying that I look like a scarecrow?" You mock the blond Viking as you take another sip of his ale. "How original."

Sigurd laughs at your words and shakes his head. "I'm not implying. I'm stating the obvious."

Neither of you had noticed that Ivar had entered the Hall as well and he had heard of Sigurd's implication.

He took a hold of the stool's wooden leg and pulled with such force, Sigurd fell on his back. And unsurprisingly, the brothers began to quarrel.

"You dare insult (Y/N) in such a foul manner!" Ivar yelled as he attacked his older brother. "Do you have any respect for a woman?"

"Ivar, it was a simple joke. He did not mean it!" You try to reason with your friend as they both ignored you and continued to fight. You sigh and look to Ubbe, who sat back on his chair and simply shrugged.
