"Since this is only our meadow," Sigurd spoke, breaking the silence. "I shall build an altar dedicated to the most beautiful goddess."

You smile at the thought of a small dedication to your favourite Norse Goddess. "A small altar for the Goddess Idun sounds magical, my sweetheart."

Sigurd turns to look at you as he lets out a small chuckle from his lips. "I was not speaking of Idun, my darling. I meant you. The true goddess of this peaceful and heavenly meadow that nature has granted us."

You look at your husband and reach to run your fingers through his soft, braided hair. "You flatter me, sweet."

"You know, I only speak the truth, darling." Sigurd replies as he pulls your body upon his for a tight embrace.
