Original Request: I was wondering, how would the Ragnarssons (shoot, let's throw in Floki for a bonus) react to the Mikaelsons (From The Originals & TVD) I was reading a vampire book and a line really stuck with me. "Exactly how old are you?" "The Vikings once considered me one of their gods." It made me think of how the Vikings would react to vampires.

A/N: Thank you for requesting this awesome imagine, dear. I wrote it so each Ragnarsson + Floki can have their own platform on their idea of vampires. Also, I did not include the fact that the Mikaelsons' would drink the boys' blood and compel them as that would be unfair to the Ragnarssons for reasons you probably already know ;) I hope you enjoy reading it and I do wish this is what you had in mind!!

Floki

I believe that Floki would have one of these two reactions: either laugh and ridicule the Mikaelsons much like he does with the Christians and their faith or he would be remarkably intolerant towards the family

Upon the unjust remark of, "The Vikings once considered me one of their Gods," he'd get irritated due to his fierce devotion to the Norse Pantheon so, he would not take lightly to a mortal (or in this case, self-made immortal) claiming themselves as highly as one of the Norse Gods and Aesir.

Therefore, upon the Mikaelsons' arrival and of their tales of how they became vampires, how they drink blood for food and lived to the age that they have, Floki would scoff and deem them false and prejudicial beings in the eyes of the All-father.

Bjørn Ironside

The eldest son of Ragnar does not take this sort of bullshit with much seriousness

The eldest son of Ragnar does not take this sort of bullshit with much seriousness. He, himself, is a very skilled warrior, strong enough that he matched his uncle, Rollo in a drunken brawl and fast enough to go through a battle and never be struck. Bjørn even survived for several months in the icy mountains of Scandinavia.

He managed to track down and kill a full grown bear with only a hatchet and knife. Thus, the Mikaelsons might posses superhuman speed, strength and all the standard powers of an Original Vampire, but Bjørn would not be fazed. The furthest he'd go would be perhaps, to find their stories intriguing and their vampiric features haunting. I think he'd develop an off and on brotherly bond with the third son of Esther, Kol Mikaelson - seeming as they have much in common.
