<Second Person POV>
You and all the other students stare at Mrs. Sun in confusion. "Excuse me?" you manage to say.
"Pick someone to finish your work." She repeats slowly. She smiles at you again, raising her eyebrows slightly.
Ohhh, I think I get it. She wants me to pick someone to finish my work. I was wondering why neither Jungkook nor Taehyung got in trouble for what they said in class. I thought it may have been family perks or something, this school is too nice to have a good reason to let those slack offs stay. And it's not like Mrs. Sun is dumb, she saw the bullying happen right in front of her. Is she helping me get pay back on them?
You smile at her kindness and shift your eyes slowly to the crowd of students. As your gaze hovers across the room, one by one each student scrunches down and hang their heads low.
Now do I want to pick the guy who played my heart or the guy who helped?
The atmosphere of the classroom hangs still as you scan your eyes across your peers, making eye contact with a few and causing those few to shrink down even more.
"Ok..." you begin. "I chose..." you turn in the direction of Jungkook, making the other side of the class relax. Eyes follow your hand as you prolong the moment.
"Kim Taehyung." you quickly turn to Taehyung at the opposite side of the class as you announce your choice. He looks up slowly from his spot in confusion, eyes widening at you, the one who sealed his fate. Hah, he thought he was safe.
He clears his throat and awkwardly shifts in his seat. "Miss?" he asks Mrs. Sun with a meekly raised hand. "What is it Taehyung?" Mrs. Sun says without shifting her eyes from the attendance sheet. "May I be excused to the bathroom?"
A few snickers come from the class, heads turning down to tables and books as if to conceal their very evident reactions. Taehyung's serious yet joke-like statement earns a sarcastic smile from Mrs. Sun. "You may after you solve this."
Taehyung sighs at his failed attempt to escape, and reluctantly makes his way to the front of the class. He sends you a cold glare as he nears the board. "You may go back to your seat now Y/N." Mrs. Sun quickly hushes from beside you. You toss the white chalk at Taehyung and glare back at him. He barely catches it with both hands and stares at you eyebrows raised as you make your way down the row of whispering students, not before you catch him mouthing curses at you. You respond with a poker face, he doesn't deserve any more attention from you.
With the students too busy occupying themselves with texting their friends what had just happened, and Jungkook's unnecessarily massive gap between his knees and his desk still open, the way back to your seat was thankfully uneventful.
Taehyung stares at the half finished equation, scratching the back of his head. He begins to write some curly looking numbers on the board, his hand writing big and messy compared to your neat small lines. After just seconds of pondering and acting like he knew what was going on, he declares "x does not exist!" He looks back at Mrs. Sun half sitting on her desk, watching him work. He hangs his mouth open goofily as he looks at a proud Jungkook, giving him a bunny-toothed smile and two thumbs-ups. You stifle a laugh at their interaction, gaining a dirty side-eye from Jungkook.
"No, Taehyung x does indeed exist, and the answer was 3." Mrs. Sun sighs, disappointed. Taehyung shows a small pout before moving back to his seat, leaning back and resting his feet on the table comfortably.
Throughout the rest of the day's classes, Jungkook and Taehyung blatantly fall asleep on their tables, snoring loudly during a quiz; they exchange notes across the room, annoying a few students, but mostly making the lucky few female classmates love them even more; and play spit ball. You have countless small wet balls sticking to the right of your desk. It's disgusting, but you're just thankful he didn't aim for your hair.
"Jungkook and Taehyung!!" Mrs. Sun shouts at the class, slamming a stack of recently collected worksheets on her desk. "I have had enough of your foolishness in class! I can't let you two off the hook anymore, I don't care if your parents are the main sponsors of our school! I'm sending you both to detention for the rest of the week."
Jungkook and Tae exchange arrogant looks as the class freezes at Mrs. Sun's unusual show of anger. "But we didn't even-" "I don't want to hear it!" Mrs. Sun shouts at your seat mate and shuts him up for the rest of the classes today.
So my predictions were true, these lucky jerks come from filthy rich roots. How classic.

You're walking on the courtyard nearing the end of lunch, the place where everyone usually is. Joe suggested maybe jogging a few times around the track, but it's embarrassing with everyone watching even if you weren't overweight, so you just opt for walking until the bell for class rings. You would listen to music to block out all the chatter of students around you, but since the tripping incident happened, you shutter at the thought of not paying attention to where you step again.
You're about to pass the group of 7 guys responsible for your humiliation at school for the fourth time when out of no where a guy runs into your right shoulder and falls to the ground. "Oh I'm so sorry are you okay?" You quickly say, turning to grab his elbow and help him up. You apologize even though it was him who ran into you. "Get off me you pig!" He snaps, aggressively shaking your chubby fingers off his arm as he rushes to get up, running away from you, grimacing.
Usually you would retort some roast back at him, but you continue to remind yourself not to say anything that would ruin your school reputation even more. The distant laughing from the group of impossibly good looking guys ringed in your now red ears as you fast-walked away from their eye-line. They definitely saw the whole thing. Great.
<Third person POV>
"Oh my god did ya'll catch that? HA she's hopeless." Jimin says to a cackling Namjoon. Jin takes a deep breath in after laughing so hard, "pig, god I forgot that classic name." Hoeseok wipes away a happy tear as he leans on an equally entertained Jungkook for support.
The only ones not laughing are Yoongi and Taehyung. Taehyung's staring blankly at the space where Y/N was just a second ago, his brows furrowed and his eyes serious. Why though? Wasn't this what he wanted?
Jungkook, absent minded, circles his arm on Yoongi's shoulders as he's finishing up his laughter, and looks up at him. He shuffles away from Yoongi a bit upon seeing his cold eyes staring back at him. "Sorry hyung, didn't realize you hadn't napped today yet." He says quickly before getting up and moving to sit next to Jimin.
Yoongi shifts his eyes lazily to the arrogant group whom he's grown up being friends with. They didn't used to be like this, but gradually they began demanding the world around them be a certain shape, and they act out when it's not. He's different though. Logical, mature, and with a clear mind. He may be able to tell the difference between right and wrong, but he's still choosing not to meddle. He promises to himself that one day he'll teach his friends what he's learned.
This is not that day, but he's not worried Y/N will break under the wrath of his friend's uneducated thoughts, she seems strong.
