Sierra’s POV
My phone rang in my pocket. I sighed and released Liam’s hand and pulled it out, opening the text. It was from Nick. I grumbled. I had actually saved his number in my phone so I knew what to expect. Recently though, all of the messages have been from him.
“Who is it love?” Liam asked looking over at me. I looked at the picture on the screen. It was of me and Liam walking hand in hand down the street about five minutes ago. Adorable couple, yes? Replace him with me and it’d be much better. He had written. I bit my lip and quickly deleted the message.
“No one, just my Mom.” I lied. He nodded and looked back. We were back at the flats in no time. It was Christmas Eve, aka, Louis’s Birthday. Liam and I had woken up early and decided to go for a walk before the others woke up and were on our way back to the flat to spend the day with the boys before they went out to the pubs and what not tonight to celebrate. Being that Liam couldn’t drink and I wasn’t much of a drinker, the two of us decided to spend Christmas Eve together at the flat, which I was completely okay with.
It had been two weeks since Nick had gotten in contact with me again. Ever since then he had been texting me every other day and now more recently every day, and this was now the second time he had texted me today and it was only ten in the morning. The worst part is, about a week ago he started sending pictures of me. Like recent pictures. He’d send me a picture of me doing something ten minutes after I did it. I had stopped mentioning the texts to Liam. All it did was make him stay with me, or a few of the other boys and one of their body guards. It distracted him from the band too and I didn’t want that. I could handle myself.
Unfortunately, every now and again he found one of the texts. When I had first gotten a picture of me sent to me, I panicked and willingly told Liam about it. So now no matter what I say or how little I tell him, I’m still not allowed to go out alone. But that was the last thing I told him, and since then he had been a little more lenient and concentrating more on is music which I was happy about.
Nick still sent me threats about Liam, making me more and more nervous. Some of them got gruesome and I wanted to throw up and cry when I read them. It was one thing to know I was being stalked and I myself was in danger but knowing that Liam is in danger is something I can’t comprehend. I have been having nightmares about it every night. They had gotten so bad that I had started to wake up Liam in the middle of the night. I’d tell him they were nothing, but he was getting more and more worried and suspicious.
We walked in the door of the flat and found all of our friends sitting at the kitchen table.
“Happy Birthday!” I cheered and ran over to Louis, diving onto his lap and flinging my arms around his neck.
“Thanks love!” he laughed and kissed my cheek.
“Happy birthday, Lou.” Liam chuckled and sat in an open seat. I got off of Louis and went to go sit next to him, quickly pulling a pancake onto my plate before Niall attacked me for it.
We finished breakfast rather quickly and Lacey offered to do the dishes. We all sat there while she was doing them, keeping easy conversations going, discussing plans for the evening and what not.
“So, what are you two doing tonight?” Harry sent Liam and I a cheeky wink. I rolled my eyes and Liam grabbed my hand.
“Whatever we want. It’s none of your business.” He said and glared at Harry and Louis who were giving us funny looks and making inappropriate gestures. I groaned.
“Haz, Lou, stop.” I scolded them. “I thought you were turning twenty one, not five.” I rolled my eyes.
“Shut it you.” He snapped at me, causing me to give him a second eye roll. Lacey walked out of the kitchen shortly after.
