Sierra’s POV
“That’s not fair!” Louis pouted.
“Not my problem you lost.” I laughed at him.
“But now I can’t even talk about car-” he stopped himself as I eyed him down.
I had bet him that I could beat him in a race across the park. The park was small so it was a short race, but I was best at short bursts of speed. If I won he couldn’t talk about, eat, or even look at a carrot the whole day, and obviously, I won.
“I warned ya Lou. She is pretty damn fast.” Liam chuckled.
“I conquer. I can’t tell you how many times she chased me down to kick my ass after I did something to her.” Lacey walked over with Niall. Ooh what was going on with them?
“But now I want a… you know what.” Louis said stuttering over the last part. We all burst out into fits of laughter.
“Do you not understand how wrong that sounded?!” I choked out between laughs. I fell to my knees and clutched my stomach from laughing so hard. I felt my eyes start to water. I turned to see the others still laughing as hard as I was.
“You know what I meant!” He yelled at all of us.
“It was still hilarious!” Lacey managed to reply.
“It’s okay Boo-Bear.” Harry chuckled at the end of his laughing fit and patted Louis on the back.
“No it’s not. I want a…” He just stopped not finishing his sentence. I tried hard to regain my composure.
“Okay. Let’s just play Truth or Dare… that’s where this is going.” I mumbled and sat down on the grass between Niall and Liam. “Louis you can start since you are upset about your carrot dilemma.” I laughed at him.
“Shut up!” he cried, but quickly looked around the circle. An evil look came to his eye.
“Liam.” He started. “Truth or dare?”
“Uh… Dare.” He picked up on Louis’s evil look too. I could tell by the hesitation in his voice.
“I dare you to kiss…” he paused and looked at me. Don’t do it Louis! “…Lacey for 15 seconds.”
My heart dropped instantly. He did that on purpose. He was trying to make me jealous. I wasn’t jealous… it was just… they were my two my best friends… it was awkward… I think…
I looked and saw Lacey and Liam staring at each other wide eyed. Niall was glaring at Louis with ice cold eyes. Someone was definitely jealous though.
“Come on Liam, it’s a dare, just do it.” Zayn told him.
“Fine.” He said simply and got up and walked over to Lacey who had climbed to her feet slowly. Without another word, Liam’s gaze met hers and they slowly leaned in until… connection. I looked down quickly as Harry and Zayn wolf whistled. I bit my lip and saw Niall staring at the ground in front of him looking hurt.
“4..5..6…” Louis counted. I looked up again and saw they were still kissing. My heart dropped lower in my chest. If I looked up one more time, I think it would just fall out of my chest.
“9..10..11…” This was the longest 15 seconds of my life. It’s just so awkward. I shifted uncomfortably.
“15!” Louis finished and Liam and Lacey broke apart. I looked up and saw them standing there staring at each other breathing heavily. I bit my lip harder. My heart began to race at the thought that settled in my head.
