Sierra’s POV
I let out a long breath and opened the door. This had to stop, even if that meant him getting what he wanted.
“Congratulations!” I yelled, my voice cracking. “You found me. You ruined my life. You won.” I said. He just stared at me, smiling evilly.
“Not yet I haven’t.” he said and stepped inside the room. I backed away slowly.
“What do you want from me? Why are you doing this?” I asked him.
“I never leave anything unfinished. You think that just because your boyfriend saved your ass that day at the beach I would let it go? You need to learn that’s not the case. I still have a bone to pick with him as well.” He told me menacingly.
“Nick. I will do anything you ask me to as long as you leave Liam and everyone else alone.” I begged him desperately.
“We’ll have to see about that.” He said. Before I could say anything else, he pushed me back onto the bed and jumped on top of me. He covered my mouth as I let out a shocked scream. Next thing I know I hear the door swing open and Nick is no longer on me. I opened my eyes to see Liam standing there with clenched fists and a rage filled expression on his face.
“Liam…” I whispered relieved. He had found me. I was so happy to see him again, I just wanted leap up and hug him and tell him that I was being stupid and that I never wanted to leave him again. I just wanted to forget everything that was happening right now and be able to go home with him and enjoy our Christmas. An evil Nick picking himself up off the floor from the other side of the room reminded me that that wasn’t the case. Fear suddenly seized me. This is what Nick wanted all along. He wanted Liam to come here and try to save me.
So he could kill him.
“…no…” I cried. He looked at me, his face softening with concern and confusion, but he didn’t get a chance to speak.
“Perfect.” Nick chuckled.
“I don’t care what you do to me, just let her go.” Liam said, standing in front of me protectively.
“No! Liam, he wants me. If he kills you he’s not just going to forget about me. You need to leave. Now.” I said sitting up and pushing Liam in the direction of the door. He didn’t budge.
“I’m not leaving Sierra.” He said and grabbed my wrist firmly. His eyes met mine and everything froze. He was here now, but I knew, only one of us, if either of us, were getting out of here alive.
“Oh will you both stop you’re arguing! Jeez, your gushy love shit is making me want to throw up. You really think you get to choose what I do to whom? Not how it works. I wanted you both here for a reason.” He said with a sly smirk. Liam tugged my wrist, pushing me so I was standing behind him.
“All I’m going to say is that I will get what I want.” He said and took another step closer to Liam and I. Without warning, he leapt at Liam, grabbing him by the shoulders and throwing him to the ground. He turned to kick him in the stomach, but Liam rolled over, dodging his foot, and swiped at his ankle, causing Nick to lose his balance and fall to the ground.
