Sierra’s POV

“L-Liam… I…” I tried to explain, looking at my boyfriend’s grim face. He didn’t say anything in return. Instead he just rose to his feet and headed across the room right towards Louis.

“Liam wait I-” I started, jumping to my feet, but it was too late. Liam’s fist collided with Louis’s face and Louis fell to the ground. Lacey and I screamed and Harry jumped up, running over to Liam. I followed close behind him.

“What the hell! That’s my girlfriend and your so called sister! Why on Earth would you fucking kiss her?! When I was unconscious in a fucking hospital on Christmas!” Liam yelled, his face red in anger. Harry grabbed Liam’s shoulder firmly and pulled him away from Louis who was picking himself up off the floor. Liam tried to shake the younger boy off of him, clearly not finished with Louis.

“Liam stop, please.” I begged tears in my eyes. I grabbed his shoulder and tried to spin him around. He shook me off roughly.

“Get off of me you fucking whore!” He yelled at me. My heart shattered. No matter how bad Liam and I had fought before, he had never cursed like that at me. He had never called me a bitch or a whore. Never.

“I trusted you! I risked my life for you! And then when I’m in the hospital because of you, you go and kissed my best mate?! I loved you Sierra, and you just stab me in the back!” He screamed in my face. I just stood there, frozen, my mouth caught half open with words to be said, but nothing would come out. I had made the biggest mistake of my life, and it wasn’t even my fault.

“Liam stop!” Louis shouted, clutching his nose which was bleeding. “It wasn’t her fault. It was mine! I kissed her.” He said.

“Because that makes it better?! From the look of that picture, neither of you were pulling away anytime soon!” he yelled again. Everyone else in the room was silent, intent on watching us. Even Niall and Zayn and stopped glaring at each other for this.

“But I did pull away!” I managed to say. Liam turned to face me, and I saw pain fill his eyes the minute our gazes met. Guilt overwhelmed me. Now I was causing him both physical and mental pain. He just shook his head slowly and turned away from me.

“Liam she did. She told me she loves you! She means it. It doesn’t matter how I feel about her, because she is meant to be with you, mate.” Louis said and put his hand on Liam’s good shoulder gently. Liam just shook him off.

“Don’t call me your ‘mate’.” He said and turned around and walked out of the room.

I stood there staring after him. Tears streamed down my face and I was surprised I was still standing. It felt like someone had ripped my heart out of my chest.

“Come on Lacey, let’s go somewhere quiet. I need to talk to you.” Zayn said quickly and grabbed Lacey’s wrist, pulling her to her feet and towards the door. Niall immediately pulled Lacey roughly by the shoulder back behind him, causing Zayn to let go of her wrist. I heard Lacey let out a whimper of pain.

“She’s not going anywhere with you!” Niall snarled.

“Don’t you think that’s her decision?!” Zayn yelled back.

“Not when it involves being alone with another man that apparently loves her!” he screamed.

“Stop!” Lacey yelled. “Please…” she begged and wiped away a tear.

“Lacey I can’t do this.” Niall started. “I can’t be with a girl that may or may not have feelings for someone else. Especially someone that lives with us. Your necklace says ‘Niall Horan’s Girl’. Is that the truth?” he asked stepping closer to her and grabbing her hands, interlocking his fingers with hers. “Are you mine, and only mine?” his voice grew quiet and stern.
