Epilogue: Once Upon a Time...

Lacey’s POV

“So we have one song left for all of you tonight!” Harry yelled into the microphone. All of the girls in the crowd erupted into another roar of excited screaming and squealing and Sierra and I cheered along with them. Ellie laughed at our enthusiasm while she smiled up at her boyfriend onstage. Harry’s eyes met hers and he winked at her. Those two… always the flirts.

The introduction to One Thing filled my ears. I heard a bunch of girls scream loudly. They really didn’t play much of their original songs at concerts anymore because they were now on their fifth album, and working on number six, but I always loved it when they played their originals. It reminded me of when I first learned about the boys, when I first met them, and all of the time we have spent together since.

“This is dedicated to our lovely girlfriends!” Louis shouted, indicating to the four of us standing in front of the stage. We all smiled and blushed and winked at our boyfriends standing on stage as Liam started to sing his part. My eyes met Niall’s and he winked and smiled widely at me, looking excited. I just laughed at his enthusiasm. Normally he was more disappointed rather than excited at the end of a concert. He hated watching them come to an end.

“I love them all so much.” Annie laughed from beside me. I giggled and nodded. This was all so unreal.

The past three and a half years really were amazing. Ever since the whole fight and what not that went down right after Christmas a few years ago, everything has gotten better and remained going strong. Harry and Louis met Ellie and Annie and they are just amazing girls. I was proud of Harry. He had now been dating Ellie for almost seven months. That’s a new record for him since I’ve known him. I’m happy for the two of them. They are so adorable together and I can tell Harry realizes she’s something special.

Louis has been dating Annie for a little over a year now. She immediately became close with Sierra and I and when Ellie came along she joined right in as well. I must say, it’s so much better having more than just one other girl around besides the boys. They still get very crazy even if they are all between the ages of 21 and 24. They still act like they are 10.

Zayn was dating this girl Alexa who was a complete bitch. They dated for two months and whenever she was around the boys or us girls, she would hang all over Zayn and whine about every little thing we did. When he wasn’t in the room she shot us looks and insulted us. She had actually slapped Sierra at one point and Sierra was about to go back at her but Liam had gotten between them. Thankfully Zayn had seen the whole episode and that was when he broke up with her. Thank God.

He was single now, but I knew it wouldn’t be for long. So many girls were out there for him and he’d find the right one in no time. He never really seemed depressed about being single which was great. He had learned to embrace it.

My eyes stayed glued to Niall who was happily singing his part of the chorus. All five of the boys turned and pointed to us during it. Zayn just happily pointed to a girl in the crowd who may or may not have fainted but he had to hold back a laugh.

“So get out, get out, get out of my head, and fall into my arms instead!” They sang. We all jumped up and down to the beat of the music.

The song ended too soon must I say, but entire arena was filled with screaming of the thousands of girls inside.

“Thank you all for coming out tonight!” Zayn yelled into the microphone with a big smile on his face. Louis, Liam and Harry stepped up quickly putting a hand on Zayn’s shoulder. All four boys pause as a huge smile spread across their faces.

“But the show’s not quite over.” Liam said with a wink.

“What are they talking about?” Sierra asked and looked at Liam, hoping for some answers. I did the same as my eyes found Niall. He just smiled at me, his eyes sparkling. What in the world was happening.
