I sit with my mom and dad in my living room while we wait for Andre. My parents are actually really cool. They had me when my mom was sixteen and no one even knew she was pregnant.

Hannah, my mom, is a vet assistant in a little clinic in the city. Greg, my dad, works as a welder for this big company and he's really good apparently. I haven't met my older sister yet, but I hear she's working in New York as an intern.

I smile taking a sip of my wine from my glass, my parents are laughing about a joke. Things are simple on my side at least for now. "I can't believe you're actually here." My dad says looking at me. I'm sitting so I'm facing him on the couch as they sit in the other end. My elbow is resting on the back of the couch, "I could say the same about you guys too." My mom smiles.

The door opens and reveals my beautiful fiancé. He's in jeans and a old band tee with a jacket on and a some sneakers. I smile as he chuckles, "Sorry I'm late." He drops his duffle down my the door and closes the door, "The foods on its way." Greg says standing up to shake his hand. Andre smiles taking his hand before taking off his coat.

He even bends over and gives my mom a hug before taking his seat next to her. "So what are we eating tonight?" He asks and I rest my feet on his thigh, "Pizza." I smile sipping my wine, "Sounds good to me." He rubs my calf, "So how was work today?" Greg asks leaning up on the cushion, "It wasn't too bad except for the part where I got shot at." He chuckles and so does Greg.

I take a slightly bigger sip after those words leave his lips, "But they're in a jail cell now so it's okay I guess." He shrugs. A knock at the door tells me that I actually have to get up. I slide off the couch and walk with my glass in my hand and the money. I open the door and the young guy stands there in his uniform, "Did you order the cheese pizza and breadsticks?" I nod and he gets out the boxes.

Andre reaches around me and gets the boxes, "I had that." I laugh a little and hand the guy the money, "Keep the rest." I smile and he nods walking away. Andre is sticking a breadstick in his mouth as I turn around, "Geez save some for the rest of us." I joke and he gives me a sassy look. I roll my eyes.

Becca's passed out with her head on my shoulder as we sit in the couch with her parents. Her arms are wrapped around my arm and her leg is draped on over mine. Her sweater is soft against my skin and her body heat is nice.

"Well I think it's time for us to leave." I look up and see her parents standing up, "Here let me wake her." Greg shakes his head, "No don't do that she needs the sleep, just tell her tomorrow that we'd love to do this again with you guys." I nod and he shakes my free hand.

Hannah hands me the remote, "Thought you might need it." We all share a light laugh, "You guys stay safe on the roads." They nod and begin to leave, "I'll lock the door behind us." Greg says and I nod, "Goodnight guys."

The door shuts quietly behind him and I'm left with a sleeping Becca. I kick off my shoes and sink a little in the couch and Becca scoots herself closer. I rest my head on hers and she pulls my arm closer to her chest, "Mhm." I smile and she stuffs her unsocked feet under my thigh.

I could lay like this forever with her, "You're my forever." I whisper against her head and rest my mouth against her head. Everything about this woman drives me wild, "I love you." I whisper again but just a tad louder. Things between us have been a little rocky but she hasn't budged once.

"Baby?" She says catching me off guard, "Yeah?" I say and she looks at me, "Just making sure you were still here." I give her a smile and she returns with a sleepy one. She's the cutest person I've ever met in my life.

My hand is resting on her inner thigh and my thumb rubs back and forth. She rests her chin on my arm, "Did my parents leave?" Her voice is full of sleep and I know she's tired, "Yeah."

I'd sleep right here as uncomfortable as it may be if she was next to me. She sits up and pulls away from me, "I can't believe I fell asleep." She groans stretching out a little, "You needed it apparently." She looks at me dead in the eye and scoffs, "Wow you sound like a parent." I lean my head back into the couch shrugging my shoulders and she laughs.

God if I could hear that laugh every day I'd be in heaven for the rest of my life. I just hope she doesn't get tired of being with me. Just the thought of those beautiful brown eyes leaving me for the rest of my life makes me want to cry. I know what you're thinking and yes men do cry.

"Wow." He laughs
