Rebecca

I pick up a spoon and start singing into it while dancing as I cook. The music I have is on shuffle and Andre hates it, "What are you doing?" He asks turning down the music, "I'm having a party." I say smiling, "You do realize our company is almost here." He says crossing his arms over his chest, "So?" I say laying down my spoon.

"Are you saying I can't have a dance party?" I cross my arms over my chest copying him, "Because that would be mean." He just looks at me, "Because I'm pregnant." He scoffs, "I hate you." He laughs walking over to me, "Well I love you, so get over it." He tucks some hair behind my ears and holds my neck, "I guess so." He says smiling down at me.

His lips quickly touch mine and leave just as fast. He does this a couple times and I try not to laugh, "Will you stop." I say holding his arms, "Unless you're going to actually kiss me." He smirks and connects our lips and this time he doesn't waver.

Andre is my rock and I don't know where I'd be without him. Actually I might be in someone's basement after getting kidnapped because I'm too nice. Yet another reason I can't be trusted by myself.

"There, is that better?" He says running his thumb over my bottom lip. I nod and he smiles, "I'm glad."

KNOCK

KNOCK

"I better get that." He groans and walks out of the kitchen and into the living room. I open the oven and pull out the two pizzas. "Where's the baby momma?" Jake laughs as he walks into the kitchen, "Shut up." He sits down a pack of beer on the counter, "Who else is coming?" He asks looking at the food, "Don't ask me, I was told to cook these pizzas."

Andre walks in with Trisha, Jakes wife. Jake crosses his arms, "Who else is coming?" Andre shrugs, "I invited some people but it looks like it's only us." Jake raises his brow as there's a knock on the door. I walk in between them, "I got it." My bare feet move along the grain of the hardwood.

I open the door, "Well hey you guys." I take a step back and let the rest of the boys in. They all come bearing gifts, mostly food that I've been craving. "Wait! Don't shut the door!" I open the door back up and see Devin jogging up to the door.

With a girl.

"Hey, sorry we're late." He gives me a hug and the girl stands there smiling. He takes her hand and leads her into the house. They walk towards the kitchen with everyone else. "What just happened?" I whisper pushing the door so it closes.

"Babe!" Andre calls out and I slowly walk into the kitchen, "Yeah I'm coming." I'm still confused, when did Devin get a girlfriend? He's super sweet and a great guy, but I can't believe he found a girl. She's showing me up too in her skinny jeans and a full face of makeup and her hair is perfectly fixed.

I'm in leggings with a T-shirt and my hair is in a messy bun because I didn't feel like brushing it. I didn't even put contacts in so my glasses complete the entire bum look. Andre's sitting in one of the bar stools and he's smiling like a kid on Christmas. I mean why wouldn't he, he's surrounded by his family that they all built.

I walk around the guys and some of their fiancés/wives are holding the same look I had. I open the fridge and look at my drink options, "You lied to me." Jake says towards Andre, "I did not." He fires back laughing.

I open the cabinet and stare at all the cups I can't reach, "I told you I invited them," Andre talks and suddenly he's beside me reaching up to grab me a glass, "they just hadn't showed up yet." I smile and he kisses my head.

He walks back over to his seat, "You never told me who all you invited." Andre rolls his eyes, "Fine mom." The other boys start laughing and I pour me some sweet tea, "Shut up." Jake laughs throwing a chicken nugget, "You better not be throwing food."

Andre says and I can feel his eyes on me, "She loves me." I sit my glass on the counter and close the fridge, "Don't throw food in my kitchen." I say and he rolls his eyes, "I'm serious Jake." Trisha laughs from the opposite side of the room. Andre sticks out his tongue, "Y'all give me headaches." He says stifling a laugh as he leans back into the counter.

I shrug my shoulders and take a bite out of a chicken nugget. Devin's girl is watching all of us. We upgraded our couch about a month ago so we can fit more people. "Okay so I'm going first and then it's fair game." I say and the boys begin to protest, "I'm kidding, but leave me something." I stand back as they all dig in. I cross my arms resting them on top of my belly.

Andre is soaking all this up, he needs this badly. He's been trying to focus on me so much  part of me hates it because I feel like I'm holding him back. Everyone disperses into the living room and I hear the tv turn on. I look around at the food and nothing looks good, or nothing that's left looks good. I sit on the bar stool and hold my belly as I look at the food.

"What looks good?" Andre says walking back in and sits down his empty glass, "Nothing." He raises his brow, "Really?" I nod, "Yeah, it's weird isn't it?" He nods resting his hands on the counter, "Are you hungry?" I shrug, "I think there's some left overs in the fridge." He says going to the fridge, "I'm fine, I'll find something to eat okay just go out there and have fun with your friends."

The look on his face could kill, "Becca-" I shake my head, "Get your drink and go." I say and he crosses his arms over his chest, "What's going on?" He asks and I shake my head, "Nothing, I'm fine." He raises his brow, "You're being weird." I roll my eyes, "No I'm not." He nods, "You are." He says making himself a drink, "But I swear if something is wrong and you don't tell me." He points a finger at me, "Everything's fine."

He accepts my words and begins to walk out drink in hand, "It better be." He says walking out.

Just like that I'm alone. I hate pregnancy hormones, they are kicking my ass. I cross my arms on the counter and rest my head on them. I'm exhausted and I've barely done anything today.

"You alright?" Jake says sitting down beside me and I feel someone else sit down on my other side. I nod, "Can we eat with you?" I lift my head and see him and Grant sitting with me.

I nod, "How's the baby?" Grant asks before taking a bite from the pizza, "She's good." Jake chokes on his drink, "She?" Grant asks smiling, "Well the cats out of the bag." I laugh holding my thighs.

"Let me tell you when Trisha was pregnant with Maggie she was a mess." Jake says straightening himself out, "I mean she cried all the time for no reason and barely ate anything." He looks at me, "There's something about the girl babies that make women emotional." I sigh, "I want pie." I sniffle, "No don't cry, alright I can't go through that again." Jake says making me laugh.

Grant smiles, "I don't want to get yelled at either so please suck up those tears." I laugh rubbing my thighs, "What are y'all doing?" Trisha comes into the kitchen and has her hands on her hips, "We're in trouble." Jake says shoving food in his mouth, "I just want pie." I laugh as Trisha nods, "She's worse that you with Maggie." Jake talks with a mouthful of food.

My mouth drops, "Shut up!" I shove his shoulder, "Dude I swear I'll kick your ass if you make her cry." Grant says turning to face him, "Why are you crying?" Nancy says as she walks in.

"I'm not crying." I say pushing up my glasses, "I didn't even do it!" Jake laughs throwing his hands up, "What's going on?" Andre walks back in, "I just want pie!" I lay my head back down on the counter.

"No one brought pie." Devin says and I raise my head up, "Obviously!" I laugh making Grant laugh from beside me, "What kind of pie do you want?" Andre asks and I sigh, "I want pie but I don't need it." My voice is cracky and I can tell I'm going to cry.

"Let's go get some pie." Andre says walking over to me, "We have a house full of people." He rubs my back, "It's fine, let's go get you some pie and we can come back. Ten minutes tops." I sniffle, "I'm okay." Jake shakes his head, "You need pie." I look at him. "I need pie."

My eyes meet Andre, "I need pie." He nods, "You need pie."
