" permission to court izuku...."

The alarm besides the smaller male woke him up. Drenched in sweat , as well as panting a bit, he looked around his room. Giving his mind some time to finally analyze where he is.

(Un)fortunately it wasn't a dream. That indeed his new friend had directly asked his mother for her permission to court him.

Any other day, If someone would tell that to younger izuku, he'll probably advice the said person to go visit a doctor politely.

Someone liking him even through he is quirkless is definitely new for him. It was so unreal, he thought maybe tenko was just a product of his none stop working and balancing his time too with studying and exercising.

That maybe, he had accidentally slipped on something and had hit his head hard against the floor for him to be able to produce such imagination.

But no, in fact, he is very real.

Things for him became a bit awkward.  But tenko didn't let him dwelt with the awkwardness too much.

If anything, nothing change with their relationship. Still able to chat with each other the same, except now that tenko has his mothers permission, yes, you read it right, the taller male was able to get his mother's permission without even a sweat , quoting that as long as izuku is fine and happy with it, that her son is clearly being well taken care of, he has her support.

But she also stress to tenko that its still up to izuku whether to let him or not.

With that being said, tenko seems to spend more time with izuku than before. As if he wants the greenette to feel at ease even more with him. Not much showering him with gifts since the smaller male said he doesn't want much gift anyway.

Five words made the greenette stop in his track and stare at the taller male as if he grown another head.

" I know I said I'll wait and I'm not rushing you. But I just want to know if I'm waiting for something...."   Tenko said softly.

' do I like him?'

Considering the lists that google said a person should feel whenever the person is with someone he likes, he doesn't know.

Google said if you're in love with someone you should feel or act like the following;

can't stop staring at them.

Well, he surely can't stop staring at the other whenever he would try to do something with his quirk. Be it because the green head ask him to try some of his  theories.   Since izuku is pretty much a real quirk obsessed, he doesn't mind showing or doing things that the smaller male ask.

But back to the topic, izuku thought that the first one might be a half check? He wasn't sure though. Too much time spent on work and schooling made him forget.

But perhaps, the second one might be a full check?

You feel like you're high.​

High? Like what kind of high? Was it the feeling of being tall over everything? Like the feeling of being a giant?. Sure he does felt like that once he accidentally sprained his ankle, making tenko carry him in a bridal style way while scolding him. As well as those times tenko would suddenly offer him a piggy ride because the taller male notice he was very much like a walking zombie after work.

that pretty much count right? Or does he really know the word high?
Either way, there's still some things on the lists that maybe help him figured out his feelings for tenko.

You always think about them.​

Does that mean he is in love with the bills, assignments and all? Because these past months, all he thought was how he  would help his mother pay their  house rent , as well as save money for his tuition. But then again, he's always with the taller male, so he didn't pretty much thought of it. Sure, he sometimes thought about tenko but not that much.

Surely, he can be honest with this one..that he doesn't think much of tenko.

Now, this one had gone too far. Sure he can still imagine being friends with the taller male for many years to come, but taking it to the next level? He wasn't really that sure.

There was this tiny voice in his heart that seems like it doesn't agree with his mind whenever he would try to imagine a future with tenko.

But he still feel safe, warm and he loves being with him.  Does that count as love?

He wasn't really sure.

Going back to the taller male, he clearly doesn't know the answer, as he stared at the other.

But deep down, he knew, its just that, he was very Much scared to loose their friendship.

The taller male stared at his eyes as if he was searching his very soul. Waiting patiently for some answers.

But then, before izuku could even reply, the greenette's attention was caught by some red eyes and blond spiky hair, shouting to someone who had accidentally bumped on his shoulder. The blonde male flipped man off with a scowl before going back to his own way.

Now it seems the taller male found something amusing,  for he chuckles softly, snapping izuku away from his thoughts.

Izuku stared at the other confused,  as before he can even ask, the taller male beat him to it.

" you don't have to answer anymore.... I already knew izu-chan. "
