My Sister's Friend

It has been a month since the trip to the cabin and I couldn't be happier. Alycia and I were happy together and I fall in love with her more and more everyday.

Today is my birthday and Alycia said she had the whole day planned out. I was currently in the shower reflecting how good my life has gotten since Alycia came into it. Yes, she did hurt me but we have moved in from that and we know that we won't hurt each other again.

I finished in the shower and got dressed in the clothes Alycia picked out for me. It consisted of black skinny jeans with a plain white t-shirt with a light grey 'The 1975' hoodie and a pair of black high top converse.

I made my way through Alycia's bedroom and into her kitchen. She was cooking something on the stove so I walked over and wrapped my arms around her waist and kissed her exposed shoulder.

"Good morning babe" I said kissing her shoulder again.

"Good morning birthday girl" she said giving me a quick peck on the lips. "Now go sit at the kitchen table, breakfast is almost done" she said shooing me out of the kitchen area. No more than 2 minutes later she came out with a plate with french toast on it and a bowl filled with fruit salad and a cup of coffee.

She placed in front of me and I said a quick thank you and started eating. It was the best breakfast I had had in a while. She was the best girlfriend ever, I was definitely lucky to call her mine. She was sitting next to me with a bowl of fruit salad and coffee.

We sat in silence, but a comfortable silence enjoying each others company. As I finished my breakfast I went to put my dishes in the dishwasher but Alycia quickly stopped me and did it herself. She really was spoiling me.

I went and brushed my teeth and hair deciding to leave it down and made my way back to Alycia who was sitting on the couch scrolling through her phone. I went up to her and removed her phone from her hands and straddled her waist.

I was quick to pull her into a kiss. She didn't hesitate to kiss back and she rested her hands on my waist. When breathing became a problem I pulled away and stared into her mesmerising eyes happy just sitting there looking into her eyes knowing that I can call her mine.

"As much as I would love to do that all day, we have plans" she said as she gave me one last peck on the lips and gentle pushed me off of her. I didn't want to get off of her, I would be happy just spending my birthday cuddled up in her arms talking about everything and nothing.

"Agh I hate surprises" I said as I followed her outside and to her car. All she did was look over her shoulder and wink at me. As we approached her car she held the door open for me and allowed me to get in the car before shutting it again. She made her way over to the drivers side and got in and started the car.

I grabbed the aux cord and plugged my phone in. I went to my playlist and put on y/f/s (your favourite song). Alycia cranked up the volume and we both stated singing at the top of our lungs. Every time we stopped we would get weird looks but we didn't care. We were having fun and that's all that mattered.

That's what the car ride consisted of, us singing and laughing at each other and enjoying ourselves. We soon pulled into a big parking lot and she parked the car. I didn't know where we were as I couldn't see much. She had made her way over to my side and opened my door and extended out her hand for me to take.

I didn't hesitate to take it and she helped me out of the car. We made our way into the building hand in hand. I was a tiny bit nervous as to what she had planned. As we entered the building my eyes widened. She had taken me to an indoor go kart track.

"How did you know this was my favourite?" I asked with a massive smile on my face

"I have my sources" she replied with a sly smirk. I was ecstatic at the fact we would be going go karting. I remember going go karting with my sister and cousins all the time. It was my all time favourite activity. It was exhilarating and the best part was that it was a competition. I am a very competitive person at times, sometimes I take it a tad bit far but today I will try and contain myself.
