*Derrick PoV*
Jayda fell asleep on my chest. So I just grab the remote and turned the T.v off. I picked her up and went upstairs to her room. I laid her down and laid next to her. I wrapped my arms around her and fell asleep. I woke up and looked at the time it was 5:45am I woke Jayda up to get ready for school. When she woke up I kissed her on the forehead. "I gotta go home to get ready for school, I can come pick you up and take you to school". I said. "Okay and text me when your outside". She said. "Okay". I said walking out the door. I went downstairs and headed out to my car. I got in my car and drove off to my house .
*Jayda PoV*
Derrick left, I got in the shower freshened up. I put on a red and black floral skirt and a red tank top and some gold sandals. I straightened out my hair, and i grabbed my purse and went downstairs an waited on Derrick. My phone vibrated in my purse. It was a text from Derrick.
Derrick: Come Outside.
Me: On my way .
I walked outside and saw a Cocain white Audi. I walked up to the car smiling. "Oh my gosh this car is beautiful". I said observing his car. "Thanks". He said smiling and opening the door for me. I slid in the car, and he got in on the other side. "Have you talked to Ashonti after what happened last-night". He asked driving off. "No an not planning on to no time sooner"! I said raising my voice a little. "But she was your best friend since Freshman year, you gone have to forgive her sooner or later". He said still focused on the rode. "I thought she was my bf until she betrayed me and went behind my back and kissed the guy she knew I liked"! I said angrily.
"But Jay-"Can we please not talk about this now"! I said interrupting him. "My bad Shawty I just wanted to help". he said quietly. " I know I just, never mind forget about it". I said as we arrived to school. I grabbed my purse, opened the door. Derrick came on side if me and grabbed my hand, an we walk into the school building.
*Ashonti PoV*
At first I was feeling bad after what happened the other night. Than I realized that she cant handle Derrick so I decided to go after him. So I just said Fuck it and decided that I'm going to ask Derrick out today. I was sitting down in the cafeteria with a couple of my bad bitches and looked up to see Jayda and Derrick walking in holding hands. "Wtf"! I said loudly causing everyone to look my way. "Oh my gosh I didn't know they went out". Annika one of the girls I was sitting with said. "Me either"! I said angrily.
*Jayda PoV*
I can feel people staring at us, and I know lots of mouths dropped when we walked in holding hands. Me and Derrick looked around for a seat until some girl called my name. "JAYDA"! I looked to see who it was and it was the school biggest hoe Annika. "What"? I asked wondering how she knew my name. "Come here". She said walking towards me. "I'll be back". I said to Derrick walking towards her. "You go out with Derrick"? She said pointing at him. "Yea why wussup"? I asked. "No reason, just asking because I thought he liked Ashonti, thats all". She said with a grind on her face. I started laughing "No, he don't like Ashonti, why would you think that"? I asked. "Cause they're always together and stuff like that". "Oh well I'm pretty sure he don't like her". I said walking away.
I walked over to the table Derrick was sitting at with a group of dudes. We sat there for 5 minutes and the bell rung for us to go to first period. Everybody got up and rushed to the hallway. Me and Derrick went our separate ways going to our locker.
*Derrick PoV*
I went to my locker and I seen Ashonti at hers with two other girls next to her my locker is right next to Ashonti's. I open my locker and put my stuff away. I shut my locker and before I could walk away Ashonti got in front of me. "Hey Derrick". she said smiling. "Wussup Ashonti". I said looking around for Jayda. "Im having a party wanna come". she said. "Umm no I already have plans, thanks for the invite tho". I said trying to walk away. She grabbed my arm and tried to kiss me but I pushed her back and walked to Jayda's locker.
