I woke up and I was still in the bed with Derrick. I just cant believe he didnt tell me this. I got out the bed and went to the restroom. I looked in the mirror and fixed myself. I came back out and saw Derrick was up flicking through the channel's.
"Goodmorning beautiful." He said.
"Goodmorning." I said.
"I should be able to leave today." He said.
"Thats good." I said sitting in the chair next to the bed.
"You still mad at me?" He asked.
"I dont know. I just feel like you should of told me." I said.
"Im sorry Jayda I was just trying to help." He said.
"I understand but we could've stayed with our jobs and saved up for college." I said.
He sighed and massaged his temples like he had a headache.
"I guess I'll give you time to think." I said standing up.
"Maan Jaay I dont need time to think." He said.
"Apparently you do since you don't want to hear what I have to say." I said
I didn't realize I was crying till he came over and whiped my face and hugged me.
"Derrick you have to stop cause you're going to end up dead or in jail." I said.
"I know." He said shaking his head.
"I dont have to go to college I can wait." I said.
He nodded and the doctor came in.
"Okaay Mr. Derrick you are free to go." She said.
"Ight." He replied and got up.
"I need someone to sign these papers." She said.
I signed them and she left out. Derrick got dressed and we gathered our stuff. We left and I headed home. When we got home I helped Derrick inside.
"Im not crippled bae." He said.
"I know." I said.
I unlocked the door and help him sit on the couch. I shut the door and locked it.
"You hungry." I asked.
"Yea all I ate was that nasty ass hospital food." He said.
"Want me to make you something or go get something, like pizza or Chinese?" I asked
"I really want pizza, cause I know damn well you don't know how to cook." He said laughing.
I stood there cause I can too cook.
"Ok." Was all I said.
I grabbed my keys and my purse.
"I was just playing Jayda." He said.
"Okaay I'll call you when I get to 'Pizza Palace'." I said.
I walked out and got back in my car.
I Drove down the street to Pizza Palace and parked. I got out and walked in and got in line. Two big girls was in front of me. I waited impatiently while they argued about what they want on the pizza.
"Can Y'all make up Y'all mind damn" I Said with alot of attitude.
"Excuse Me?" One of the fat bitches said.
"Can y'all hurry up im getting impatient." I said.
She looked at the other girl than back at me.
