*Derrick PoV*
After all the packing we decided to take a nap. I woke up at 4:30pm still a little tired and hungry as fuck. I woke up Jayda lazy ass. "You hungry"? I asked. "Yea". she said going to the restroom. I got up and slide on a all white t-shirt and some black sweats. I put on some Jordan slides. Jayda finally came out the bathroom after about 15 minutes. "Wanna go out an eat or fix something"? I asked.
"I dont feel like cooking you dont feel like cooking so i guess we can go out". She said. I started laughing. "Okay lets go". I said grabbing my keys and heading downstairs. I waited by the car as my phone rung. I didnt feel like being bothered.
Me: Speak
Channel: Wussup punk
Me: What you want man
Channel: Attitude, What you doing me and my cousin trynna hang with you tonight
Me: Naah I got plans and I dont fuck with yo cousin
Channel: What plans you got and that was the past let that shit go
Me: Get out my business and i dont give a fuck.
With that i hung up just as Jayda was waking outside. "Who was that"? She asked walking towards me. "Nobody important". I say opening the door for her. She got in and i jogged to my side. I hopped and the car. "Than why cant you tell me"? She asked. I sighed "Channel". I said starting the car. She was silent for a minute. "What she want"? She asked looking out window. "Nothing wanted to know if i wanted to hang and i said no". I answered truthfully.
"Awe coo. where we going"? She asked turning up the radio. "The bbq joint up the street". I say. We arrived in 10 minutes, I parked the car and hopped out. I opened the door for her and helped her out. We walked in hand in hand. We got seated and waited for our waitress. "Hey I'm Kim i'll be your waiter for the evening will you like start with drinks". She say with a nice bright smile.
"Uhhh yea i'll take a lemonade no ice". Jayda say. "You sir"? she asked. "I'll take a sprite with ice". I say. "I'll be back shortly to take your orders". she say walking away. we looked at the menu for awhile. "What you getting"? I asked looking up from my menu. "Uhh the bbq wings with fries what about you". She say putting her menu down. "I'm getting the bbq chicken with potato salad and greens". I said sounding fat.
She came back and we repeated our order she wrote them down and walked off. "what college you plan on going too" ? I asked. "I don't know I'm still thinking what about you"? she asked. Honestly i didn't want to go to college. I was tired of school I needed a break. "Im no sure if I'm going to college". I say. "Why not"? she asked confused. "I need a break from school i'm still thinking". I say as Kim sat our food down in front of us.
We was eating, talking, laughing and enjoying ourselves. I was so excited about alot.

It was getting late so we decided to head back to the house. We got in the house and she suggested that we watch a movie. We got comfortable on the couch and I put in wrong turn 2. I turned the lights off and cuddled with her. All through out the movie she was jumping and screaming. I was laughing every time one of those ugly muthfuckas popped up. It was towards the end of the movie and I was getting tired.
I looked over at Jayda and she was already asleep on my chest. My phone rung and it was a text from Channel I just ignored it and put my phone back on the table. I finished the movie before taking her upstairs. I laid her in the bed. I slipped in the behind her and fell asleep.

I woke up at 9:30am to get ready for my Interview at 10:00am. I hopped out the bed and went into the bathroom. I took a quick shower and got out. I brushed my teeth and washed my face. I wrapped a towel around me and went back into the bedroom. I saw Jayda up and putting some heels on. "Where you going"? I asked. "Interview at Dots". She said standing up. I walked in the closet and put on my boxers. I looked for something casual to wear.
I put on some black slacks and a white dress shirt. I put on my white forces, throw a little swag in it. "You ready"? I asked. "Yea". she said. I grabbed my keys and we walked outside. We got in the car and headed for the mall. We arrived and walked in. We went out separate ways.
*Jayda PoV*
I walked Dots and approached the counter. "Hey i'm Jayda I'm here for my interview". I say all proper. She looked at her watch and smiled. "Right on time come with me and we can start". She say leading the way. We walked in her office and sat down.... Hours passed and she asked me all kinds of question. I finally was done and started in 2 days. I was so happy that it was over and I got a job. I walked out the store and headed towards the food court.
I order my Chinese food and waited. A got my food and sat down and waited for Derrick interview to be over. "Wussup ma"? A male voice say. I looked up to see Zack. "Hey"! I say standing up hugging him. "Hey how you been"? He asked sitting down . "Good, I got a job". I say excitedly. We talked for a while ti'll Derrick came. "I start in 2 days". Derrick say. "Me too". I say. "Wussup Zeek". Derrick say.
Zack laughed. "It's Zack but wussup". "Same thing". Derrick say eating my food. "Yea, well im out i see ya'll around". He said getting yo leaving. "Come on we gotta move out stuff in the new house". He said. We left out the mall and got on his car. He head to his mom house on the phone . "Yea...25th and Walnut street....$200 or more i dont know.... a'ight bye". He hung up as we pulled up to his house with 2 moving trucks in the front putting boxes in the truck. I went in the house and finished up the room.
**** 2 Hours later
The room was empty and we was at the new house decorating and fixing it up. Alot of Derrick's family gave him house warming gifts. "My mama going
food shopping for us". He said. I nodded continued to put the clothes in the dressers and closet. It was a big house 2 bedrooms. Master room and a guess room. 3 baths one in each room and one downstairs. It was nice as hell. A few minutes later somebody was knocking on the door.
We both went downstairs to see who was it. He opened the door and it was his mom. "Are yall gonna just stand there or come get this stuff out my car"? She asked. We unloaded the car and brought into the house. I started putting the groceries up while the kept bringing them in. I was so happy to be living on my own. But I was sad I didn't have a mother to run back to when I have problems or to talk to about my day. I just felt like crying right now I sat down at the kitchen table. "Bae... what's wrong"? Derrick asked sitting down next to me. "I miss her". I say teary eyed.
