*Jayda PoV*
It was 4:30pm and I was sitting in my room bored. Mom went to work and told me not to leave the house. I took a shower and put on some pink shorts and a black fitted tank top. I was about to lay down and go to sleep, but my phone started vibrating. It was Derrick calling.
Me: Hello
Derrick: Hey wyd ?
Me: Laying down wyd ?
Derrick: Look out the window
I jumped from my bed and went to the window, seeing Derrick smiling and waving. I waved back happily.
Derrick: Come outside!
Me:Okaay
I hung up the phone and ran downstairs. I went outside and jump on Derrick. "I see somebody miss me". he said with a smile on his face. I started laughing. "Wanna go for a ride"? He asked. "I cant my mom told me not to leave the house". I said. "What time do she get off"? He asked "Umm 7 in the morning". I said. "Well you have nothing to worry about". Derrick said. I guess he was right. I smiled and got in the car. We drove around.
35 Minutes later we ended up at his house. We got out the car and went into his house. "Want to get in the pool"? Derrick ask. "I didn't bring my swimsuit". I said. "So I can give you one of my shirts". He said, grabbing my hand pulling me upstairs. We went upstairs, he throw me a white t-shirt. I changed into his shirt and kept my shorts on and he put on some swimming trunks. We went out back where the pool was. "Jump in" Derrick said "You first". I said backing up. "Naah I'm gone through you in". He said laughing. I ran around the pool, than he finally caught me.
Derrick picked me up and threw me in the pool. I got back up gasping for air. "Now you have to get in" I said wiping water from my face. Derrick jumped in the pool, splashing water all in my face. Im waiting for him to get from under water. He get between my legs and lift me up. I was on his neck, "Put me down"! I said laughing. He just kept walking in the pool with me on his neck.
We was having a nice time in the pool together. "DERRICK"! His little sister said loudly. What do you want"? Derrick said angrily. "Who is this girl you got in my mama pool"! she said staring at me. I started to get out the pool but Derrick pulled me back. "Mind yo business, go read a book"! He said rolling his eyes. "Nope I'm telling mama you got some random hoe in her pool"! I was shocked. I got out the pool "Derrick, I'll talk to you later". I said softly, walking off "Jayda NO"! Derrick yelled out running after me. I was walking outside till I remember that Derrick drove me here. I turned around and there was Derrick. "Im sorry, she usually doesn't act like this" he said grabbing my hands. "Well maybe she don't like me". I said looking down. Derrick lifted my head up. "It doesn't matter if she don't like you, I like you thats all that matter". he said with a slight smile.
I started smiling. He hugged me and kiss my forehead. "Can you please take me home". I said We got in the car and pulled off. We arrived at my house. "I had a great time with you today. I had a great time too". Derrick said. He gave me a kiss on the lips and I got out the car smiling. I waved good-bye as I opened the door to my house.
*Derrick PoV*
I dropped off Jayda and watched her go in the house. I missed her already. I drove off and went to the Café. When I arrived I got out and went inside. I sat down and a tall black lady greeted me. "Hey can I help you". "Yea can I get a chocolate cake and some milk". "Yes". She said walking. While waiting I got a call from Jayda.
Me: Hello
Jayda : Hey Wyd?
Me: Nothing at the café wyd?
