*Jayda PoV*
I woke up at 10:45am Ashonti was still sleep, so I got up and went into the kitchen. I grabbed a bowl and a spoon, a box of cereal from off top of the refrigerator and got the milk and sat at the kitchen table. I poured me some cereal in the bowl and poured some milk and started eating. Ashonti came downstairs yawning and stretching. She walked In the kitchen, "Good morning". she said all in my personal space. "Umm can you get your morning breathe out my face". I said scooting back from the table. "Girl boo". she said looking in the refrigerator. I finished my ceral and put my bowl in the sink. I went upstairs and went in the restroom brushed my teeth than got in the shower for 30 minutes. I got out and put on some blue jeans, high waist pants with a pink tank top, and some all white forces. I sat on the bed and viewed the message Derrick sent me.
Derrick: Good morning Bae
Me: Good morning.
Derrick: Me and Kamron is on our way over
Me: Kay
Ashonti came in and washed up and came out in some red leather pants, a white half shirt and some white shoes she looked really cute. "I guess you forgot that it was my birthday today" she said angrily. "Umm no I didn't" I lied. "Whatever liar". she said rolling her eyes. "Derrick and Kamron on there way". I said trying to change the subject. Than the door bell rung, we went downstairs Ashonti opened the door "HAPPY BIRTHDAY" Derrick and Kamron screamed at the same time as the walked in. "Thanks I'm glad somebody remember, since my own BESTFRIEND forgot"! she said looking back at me. "I did not". I said lying again. "Whatever". she said rolling her eyes. "Okay I forgot, it's not a big deal". I said irritated. "ITS NOT A BIG DEAL?, WHAT THE HELL DO YOU MEAN ITS NOT A BIG DEAL I WOULD'VE NEVER FORGOTTEN MY BESTFRIEND BIRTHDAY"! she yelled making me feel bad. "HAPPY BIRTHDAY, Happy now"? I asked. "NOT AT ALL"! she said storming up the stairs. I sat at the couch and put my head in my hands.
Derrick came and sat next to me while Kamron went upstairs with Ashonti. "It's okay". Derrick says as he rubs my back.
I just stayed silent until somebody knocked at the door. I opened the door and saw Zack. Ugggh "Wussup". He says walking into the house. "Hey". I said with a fake smile. "Can we-"ZACK"! Ashonti said cutting him off. "Wussup birthday girl". he said giving her a tight hug. "IM GLAD SOMEONE REMEMBERS MY BIRTHDAY IS TODAY" She said looking at me. I was getting fed up with her and I just wanted to tell her off. "Who forgot yo birthday"? Zack had to ask.
"My suppose to be bestfriend". She said rolling her eyes and crossing her arms. "CAN YOU JUST DROP IT"! I said irritated. "Nope". Ashonti said. "Ok fine just keep throwing it up in my face". I said feeling a little bad that I forgot. "I SURE WILL"! Ashonti said leaving out the door.

Time flew by quickly, it was 7:50pm. We had to be at the club for Ashonti Birthday Bash at 8:00. Ashonti already sent invitation out to the people she wanted to come. We all was dressed and ready to party. We arrived at the club exactly at 8:00.
It was packed, We went to the front of the line and got straight in. We went to the V.I.P section, Derrick Zack and Kamron sat down with a couple of their boys from our school.
*Derrick PoV*
"Jayda this is Mason and Bry, Bry and Mason this is MY girlfriend ". I said since I know that Bry would try and flirt with her if I didnt tell him she was my girlfriend. "Hey nice to meet you ". Jayda said smiling. "Wussup ma'". Bry said licking his lips. I pulled Jayda on my lap.
*Ashonti PoV*
"Wanna go dance"? I asked Jayda. "You aint mad at me nomore"? Jayda asked smiling. "Nope now come on". I said pulling her off Derrick's lap.
*Jayda PoV*
Ashonti pulled me off Derrick's lap and we went on the dance floor. We started dancing. Im just moving my hips to the music and I feel someone hands on my waist. Im thinking its Derrick so I just keep going, until he started kissing on my neck. I turned around to face some dude that I didn't even know. Than out of no where Derrick comes up and punches him straight in his face causing him to fall down.
Before Derrick can get anymore hits in I grabbed his arm and pulled him away from the dude. "Derrick stop"! I yelled out struggling to hold him back. "Get tf off of me"! Derrick yelled out snatching his hand away from causing me to fall down. I got back up to see Derrick walking out the club. I ran behind him while everybody else was still enjoying the party.
"Derrick wait up"! I yelled trying to catch up with him. He kept on walking."Derrick please ju-"What do you want you was in there having fun dancing on some random ass nigga"! He yelled angrily causing me to jump. "I-I didn't know who it wa-"Man whatever Jayda tell Ashonti im going home and Happy Birthday" he said getting in his car and pulling off leaving me there looking stupid.
I started to cry and walked back in the club to the restroom. I went in a stall and started crying. Than I heard someone walk in. "Jayda, Jayda are you in here". The voice sounded like Ashonti's so I opened the stalk door and walked out. Ashonti came up and hugged me tightly. "Im so so sorry for ruining your Birthday Bash". I Said wiping tears from my eyes. "Its okay, you wanna go home"? She asked me. I looked at my phone to see that it was 9:45pm. "Yea I'll be right out". I said as she walked out the restroom.
I washed my face with cold water. I walked out the restroom and someone pulled me to the side. I looked up and it was Zack with the biggest smile on his face. "Wussup"? I asked confused. "Remember that conversation we had last night on the phone"? He asked still smiling. "Ummm no, we didn't even talk on the phone last night". I said. "Yes we did you told me you liked me and you moved in with Ashonti". I started laughing cause I dont remember talking to him on the phone last night. " I dont know what you're talking about". I said trying to walk away but he pulled me back
"I can show you my call log, I called you around 12:00am". He said pulling his phone out showing me he did call. I was confused cause I went to sleep around 11:50pm. "Well I dont know who you where talking to but it wasnt me". I said than walked away. I met up with Ashonti and Kamron and we left. We arrived at Ashonti house. "Go in, imma drop Kamron off over Derrick house". Ashonti said. I got out and went in the house.
*Ashonti PoV*
When Jayda went in the house I pulled off and headed to Derrick's house. When I arrived I saw Derrick sitting on the porch with his head in his hands. Me and Kamron got out the car. I walked towards Derrick and Kamron went in the house. "Whats wrong"? I asked confused. "Nothing man just thinking". He said looking down.
I kneeled down, "About Jayda"? I asked lifting his head up. " Yeah I guess". He said. I just looked him in his eyes. I wish I had asked him out before he asked Jayda out. I can just see us together. "What a birthday". I said breaking the silence. "Im so sorry that I ruined your birthday". He said shaking his head. I started laughing, "Jayda said the samething its okay I had fun while it lasted". I said with a fake smile. It was silent again. Derrick was staring out of space. I just grabbed his face and started kissing him. I dont know what gotten into me.
