*Jayda PoV*
"I miss her." I say teary eyed. "Miss who?" He asked concerned. "My mom." I cried. "Its gonna be okay, we can like go to her job and find her." He said whipping the tears off my cheeks. "Its been so long how do we know she still work there?" I asked. "We can check and remember she gave you her number? He asked. I gave him a weak smile "Yea". I say. We walked up the stairs. I looked in my bags, drawers,etc for the note I got from my mom.
I finally found it,it was kind of wrinkled up. I hope her number was still the same. I sat on my bed and picked up my phone and dialed the number. It rung 3 times before someone answered.
Me: Hello
***: Hey Who Is This ?
Me: Uhhh Jayda.
***: Jayda ? Omgosh how are you ?
Me: Yea. And I'm good how are you ?
Nicki: Same old Nicki. Look I have a lot of explaining to do. And I'm sorry for walking out on you .
Me: Yea I know and its Okaay .
Nicki: How about we meet tomorrow at Dixon's Diner .
Me: Sounds like a plan. When and what time ?
Nicki: Tomorrow ? At 10:00am ?
Me: Yea that would be great .
Nicki: Okaay talk to you later.
Me: Okaay bye
I hung up and threw my phone on the bed. "How was it?" He asked sitting down next to me .
" she want me to meet her at Dixon's dinner tomorrow at 10am". I said laying down in the bed.
" y'all need to catch up." He said getting in the bed behind me.
"Yea I know". I said turning to face him.
I traced his tattoos that was on his chest. He pulled me closer to him.
" I love you, you know that?" He asked.
" I love you too and yea." I said.
With that we both went to sleep cause today was a long ass day.

It was 9:30am when Derrick woke me up. I got in the shower for 20 minutes and got out . I brushed my teeth and washed my face. I decided yo out on something basic. I put on some camo pants, black shirt, and my black vans. I put my hair in a messy bun and grabbed my bag and walks outside.
I got in my car and headed to Dixon's Diner. I arrived 5 minutes later and park my car. I got out and went inside the Diner. I walked in and spotted my mom sitting at a booth. I walked to her and sat down.
"Hey Jayda". She said with a big smile.
" Hey how are you?" I asked
"Good, good how are you?" She asked
" Good I Guess. But I graduated." I said.
" Really That's Good What College you going to?" She asked.
"I don't know yet ." I said looking at the menu.
The waitress came up and took our orders.
" I'm so sorry." She said looking down.
" for what?" I asked confused.
" for leaving you. I was so wrong for leaving you." She said crying.
" why did you leave?" I asked.
" My boyfriend he thought it would be a good idea to move in a condo and I was so excited to tell you but he said I couldn't bring you and we left and I wrote that note hoping you would call that same day, I'm sooo sorry." She said crying.
" I understand, I just wish you was there to see me your only daughter graduate." I said trying to hold my tears back.
" I'm sorry for now on Imma stay in touch with you, where do you live?" She asked as the waitress brought our food .
"Okaay and I live with my boyfriend."

Time passed and we talked had fun and caught up a lot. I found out she was 5 month pregnant by a pro football player. I was happy that I was going to be a big sister. She said she was gone let me meet him. He proposed to her when he found out she was pregnant.
