Chapter 5

Calum's P.O.V.

You could tell it was new. You could tell it hurt her. You could tell it was infected. She obviously didn't want us to see it.

"Did you do that today?"

"Yeah, after my walk." She said timidly while looking at her feet.

"Just on your wrist or....?"

"Just on my wrist." She replied still starring at her feet.

"I think it's infected."

"Mhm."

"How do you think it got infected?"

"Don't know. Maybe I got dirt in it I don't know."

Michael entered the kitchen. Tori quickly covered up her wrists.

"Just getting drinks for me and Ashanti. What you guys doing?" Michael asked while talking 2 cups from the cupboard.

"You know, talking."

"Exciting." Michael said sarcastically. He then starred at Tori. "You okay?"

She didn't answer.

"Calum what the hell did you to her?!" He asked angrily.

"Nothing!" I replied defensibly.

"Fine." Michael said while exiting the room.

I then took Tori to the bathroom and put some hydrogen peroxide on her rose tattoo.

She looked up from her wrist and was about to say something. However she was interrupted with me kissing her.

Ashanti's P.O.V.

Michael and I have been playing Xbox for roughly 2 hours now. I knew Tori and Calum could hear us, but I didn't hear them. Michael said the were just talking so I guess that makes sense.

I guess I wasn't focusing because Michael paused the game.

"Why'd you pause it?" I ask while refocusing on Michael.

Michael paused for a couple seconds. He then whispered, probably to himself: "Screw it."

At first I was quite confused. To be honest I had no idea what he ment. I was just starting to think he was talking about the game, when he leant in and kissed me. No tongue or anything. He simply just kissed me. Let's be honest and say it was FRICKING FANTASTIC! Okay! Calm down Ashanti, it was just a kiss.

My thoughts were interrupted by foot steps coming down the stairs and Michael in pausing the game.

Calum approached us with a kind of worried look.

"Long story short, Tori feel asleep on my bed. Should we have her stay or bring her back to your house?"

Michael was first to respond. "One: Saying 'Long story short' doesn't make the story shorter. Two: Did you do the nasty?!" He said number two with a dirty look on his face.

I was surprised that Calum wasn't surprised at number two.

"Oh okay. And god dude no!"

"Well that's too bad. I just might beat you then." He said while getter quieter with each word.

Calum just starred him down for a good two minutes.

I was the one to break the silence this time. "I guess Tori could stay here. But then in the morning I don't know what Luke, Ashton, and the girls think. Plus where will she sleep?"

"She can sleep in my bed!" The said together and then looked at each other as if the were declaring war.

"Michael, you are really giving me mix signals here." I told him while starring into his eyes. God they are gorgeous. "First, you kiss me out of nowhere and now you want to sleep in the same bed as my best friends?!"

"Uh-"

Calum cut him right off. "YOU KISSED HER AND NOW WANT TO SLEEP WITH TORI?!" He yelled "God, what's wrong with you?"

Michael really didn't have an answer except "Shhh! You could wake up Tori."

"My god. Michael I swear sometimes your an idiot."

"Calum, you don't have to be mean to him." I timidly added into the conversation.

"Want me to walk her up?" Calum asked sounding paranoid.

"If you want. She can stay if you want I'll bring her some clothes."

"Want a flashlight? It's like 11 you won't be able to see." Michael asked me.

"Sure. If you want you can come with me. Both of you, I guess."

We brought get back some clothes. I don't understand why they wanted to come I was just being nice and asking.

I headed home at about 12 in the morning. Luke and Ashton just got home, so I decided to leave after telling them the Tori story.
