Chapter 9

Luke's P.O.V.

I actually did notice that Tori and Rylie were gone for a while. I heard the muffled of their voices upstairs. Then I heard something, something big, fall. I didn't know what, I didn't know if I wanted to.

Michael came downstairs. He awkwardly walked into the living room. He stood directly in front of the television. Ashanti paused the movie so Michael could speak.

"Uh... Tori, Rylie, and I are going... out... because we are bored..."

"You sure about that?" Calum asked him with sass.

"Shut up. Bye."

Michael looked to the front door then back to us. He then practically ran to the door.

It was unusual for him to do that.

I was kind of surprised Calum didn't say anything about it, because Michael and Tori... together.

For some odd reason I was feeling light

headed. I didn't know why but I was.

I really didn't know what was going on either. Michael mysteriously leaving with Tori and Rylie, Calum not caring, and Ashanti seemed well different.

Ashton's P.O.V.

I took Megan out like I said. However, I didn't think it was going so well. I have took her to the cinema and to lunch at this beautiful restaurant, where we sat outside. I felt so basic doing this, the classic movie and meal. I tried of thinking of places to go or things to do. I thought of this idea which I think was great.

Fifteen minutes later, I pull into the parking lot of a child's old gold mine, the arcade. Megan looks at me like she was surprised and happy with my selection. I simply just laughed.

I got out of the car and walked to the other side. I planned on opening Megan's door but her door barely missed my head, when she opened it herself. She was surprised, once again, but this time apologized at least twenty times. We walked in to the arcade, surprisingly we weren't the oldest people playing games.

"What do you want to play?" I asked her while I looked around the room filled with tons of games to play.

"Uhhh...... how about some..... Skee Ball? She offered.

"How about a competition?" I asked with the world's biggest smirk.

She giggled and nodded. We practically raced to the machines. We both put our tokens into the machines at about the same time.

"Let the highest score win!" I said as I picked up my first ball.

We ended up playing 5 rounds of Skee Ball, the motorcycle game, air hockey, and a few other games.

We decided to cash in our tickets. Megan had 1024 and I had 1046, in the end.

I permitted Megan to collect her prizes first. She picked out some candy and this stuffed monkey. She then gave her remaining tickets to me.

I stepped up to the counter. I saw two things I wanted, a bandana and a teddy bear to give Megan. The bear was 1300 tickets and the bandana was 500. I however, only had 1670 tickets including Megan's extras.

Being the kind boyfriend I am, I picked the teddy bear and handed it right to Megan. She blushed when she received it.

We got home about 30 minutes later. We decided to walk over to the girls' house and park the car at ours.

We were about a forth of the way over when we heard something, something fall. It sounded like something heavy. In the next few seconds you heard Calum.

"Oh my god! Shit!"

We both looked at each other, surprised. Megan started sprinting and I followed. We ran on the lawn as fast as possible, because you could tell by Calum's voice it wasn't anything good.

I ended up out running Megan, but almost running straight into the door.

I entered the house went into the living room where they are supposedly. I starred at what must of been what Calum yelled about because he too was staring at it.

Megan soon joined us by my side.

"Looks dead, lifeless." Calum said so blankly.
