Chapter 19

Calum's P.O.V.

I stood there, in front of Megan , planning to tell her what happened. She needed to know, they were best friends.

I cleared my throat, Megan looked up from her laptop.

"Yes?" Megan asked.

"Where's Rylie?" I asked.

"Where's Ashton?" She asked back.

"He's telling Ashanti what I need to tell you and Rylie." I said. "Now, where's Rylie?"

Megan looked back down to her laptop. "She's on the phone with Jayci's parents. They want her funeral in New York, not here. But we can't afford to fly us all out there and partially pay for the funeral and the grave." She looked back up, right at me. "You forgot didn't you?"

"Ye-yeah, I did," I said ashamed. "but only because of Tori, Rylie, Luke, and that mystery guy at the hospital. Oh, and that guy that came looking for Tori."

"You realize, Rylie and Tori were in the hospital because of Jayci. Right?"

"I am so sorry..." Megan just shook her head. The guilt filled me, I have forgotten about my dead friend. Yeah, I only knew her for two months, but seriously it's only been about 3 weeks since her death. "Anyway, I need to tell you and Rylie something."

"I told you she's on the phone." Megan sounded annoyed. "I'll give her the message, how about that?" Her suggestion seemed okay, but I didn't know who Rylie would want to hear it from.

Well here goes nothing. "Tori ran away. She jumped out her window. The minivan is gone. God I love that minivan. I don't know where she went or who's she with. And can you and Rylie help us find her?" I blurted out in one single breath.

"First off, calm the hell down." I swear Megan would of slapped me, if she had the chance. "And Tori, we know. We heard the thud of her leaving, and we texted her and she said she wasn't running away from you. She just needed to get away, I promise." As her words entered my ears, all I heard was lies on top of lies. How could she be so calm, her best friend jumped out a window! "Just please calm down Calum."

"I can't calm down! My girlfriend just ran away, Michael and Ashanti are fucking messes, and I had a surprised planned and now, there can't be a surprise without Tori!"

"Oh a surprise." Megan said with a smirk. She pretty much ignored everything else I said. "What is it?"

"I'm not telling you shit!" I was pissed at her.

"Well, someone is crabby."

"I should tell Ashton to friend zone you, because you are terrible." I said jokingly in my head. In reality it came out rude as hell.

"Less terrible than you." She said weakly, as the tears grew in her eyes. She got up, and she ran her and her laptop up the stairs. I stood there in silence, until I heard her door slam. I then heard footsteps, most likely Ashton's, heading in the direction the door's slam came from.

Moments later Ashton came down stairs. He didn't look the bit happy. His hands were now fists, his straight face was angry, and I, well I was screwed. "What the fuck, Cal?!"

"Okay, I meant to say it jokingly. I promise."

"Okay, I mean to punch you hard. I promise." I closed my eyes, praying for something to happen. I've never seen him this mad, he must really love Megan. I heard Ashton step closer. Then I heard the ding dong of the doorbell. I slowly opened my eyes, yes a witness!

Okay, so I'm sorry it's such a short and sucky chapter but I really couldn't think of anything after Megan leaving and I'm almost at 800 reads thank you so so much
