Chapter 13

Megan's P.O.V.

I didn't understand this, what the hell was happening. Everyone was looking from one to another to Tori. This didn't add up. We were supposed to donate blood, not some mystery hero. Who the hell could of known she was here, she needed blood, and where to go. We only got the call twenty minutes ago. Her parents where in New York, her brother was in Alaska, and I didn't know anyone who had her blood type.

The nurse that was giving her blood had finished. Now, she was looking at us, mostly me. Probably because of the confused expression my face showed. I then felt like everyone was watching me, even Rylie. I looked up, and sure enough everyone was looking at me except Tori and Rylie.

"This doesn't make sense." I stated while looking towards the lifeless Tori.

"It's okay, we'll figure it all out." Ashton said. He then walked over to me and kissed my check.

We all took a seat somewhere in the room. I sat in a chair along with Ashanti and Ashton. Calum tried sitting on Tori's bed but got in trouble by the nurse. Luke and Michael sat on the floor and Calum joined them.

I was almost asleep when I heard a sudden movement. I looked towards the others and realized everyone else was in fact, asleep. The nurse was gone and Tori was still passed out. I slowly turned to Rylie's bed. Sure enough, Rylie was awake. She didn't even say anything, she just fixed her purple and blue hair.

"Rylie?!" I yell-whispered.

"Megan?!" She sarcastically yell-whispered back.

"I can't belive you are awake! It been almost a week!"

"It has?!" She asked surprised. "I was asleep for a week?!"

"No, you were in a coma for a week."

"Oh, sorry."

"It okay." She said.

"However I must ask, who's rope was it?" I asked her like it didn't really matter. "Tori was going to tell us but got interrupted."

"Well, it was a friend's, a friend who hung herself."

"What friend?" I asked "I must of known them."

"No, you didn't. She was my friend, and Tori's. She was kind of quiet. And she killed herself the day after Tori left. When she found out."

"WHO WAS IT?"

"It was M-Makensie." She stuttered. "That really quiet girl from Middle School, she was in my homeroom a couple times."

"Oh, I've heard of her. She was never my friend because she never talked to me."

"Like I said she was shy." Rylie said like she was talking to an idiot.

"I should probably go get the nurse. They might have to do something." I said while getting up.

I walked out of the room, I looked left and right. No one was nearby, no room lights were on. I continued towards the elevator. It came almost the second after I pressed the button. I headed down to the lobby.

I got out of the elevator only to see the mysterious person walking out of the hospital. It was very suspicious.

I headed to the front desk. I rang the bell for a nurse. The same young nurse that told Calum he couldn't stay with Tori appeared.

"Hello. How can I help you?" She asked so nicely.

"Rylie is awake. You know the one on the second floor?" I said. She seemed completely lost. "The one that was in a coma... Purple and blue hair... Tori was there and you told Calum he couldn't say..."

"Oh, right her. Okay I'll get someone up there." She answered finally.

"Why can't you come up?" I asked confused.

"I'm getting off work for the night... Why do you need to know?"

"Just curious. Nothing more." I said while walking back to the elevator.

When I got back into the room, Rylie was still awake and everyone else was still asleep. Rylie was watching television, so I joined her. There was some random reality show on. Neither me or Rylie knew the name of it.

A couple minutes later a nurse walked in. She seemed nice and friendly. I think Rylie thought that too because she smiled towards her. The nurse saw this smile.

"There's nothing to smile about when you could die!" She said in this deep voice that didn't suit her. She then looked towards me. "No visitors durning testing!" She yelled.

"I-I-I'm sorry but all my friends are asleep. I'll go in the hall." I shyly answered.

"No stay in the room." Rylie said. She then looked at the nurse. "She's staying!" Rylir yelled a little louder.

I saw Ashton move. He was awake. Ge rubbed his eyes and stood up. "What's with the yell- RYLIE!" He said excitedly.

"Rylie, we will go in the hall."" I smiled at Ashton and took his hand.

We hadn't made it far put of the door before Ashton started to speak. "You are so hot." He said.

I blushed and giggled. I then, looked into his eyes. Before I could say anything back, he kissed me.

This was the kiss I couldn't pull away from. It didn't matter that we were in a hospital. This was the kiss, that showed he loved me and I loved him no matter what.

The kiss lasted a good minute. Then before I could even think he kissed me again. I think I'm the only one who can say I made out with a guy in the hospital at 4 AM out of the people I know.

I heard someone clear their throat. I broke away from the kiss and saw the nurse. With clipboard in hand she looked at me.

"The tests are complete and the results are in."
