"Okay, now that makes sense," Dwayne gave a shrug, "At the time I didn't get it at all. So you were really fighting the soldiers on the way up to the room?"
"She fought," Marco nodded at Ferrari, "I just ran. We were so worried about you."
"Sorry guys," Dwayne had the decency to look embarrassed, "I was just thinking about helping Cassie, I thought I could get her video out that night, get it home, and then when we came to open it in the morning I could 'accidentally' slip and knock the lid off or something. I thought other societies might come in, but I had no idea about the soldiers, or that anyone was there already."
"Well, it's fair enough," Kris wasn't too concerned, "As soon as they told you what was going on, you started thinking about how to get every friend out of the building safely. That's more than most people would have done."
"Except I was still thinking about Cassie's video," he shook his head as he confessed, "I still thought the box was a time capsule, I didn't realise there were guns involved at that point."
"How could you not know?" Marco practically yelled, not with any kind of anger but just in surprise, "Two of us burst into the room shouting warnings about soldiers after us, I had a gun over my shoulder, and you didn't realise?"
"Look, I had a crowbar in my hand. I was backed into the corner beside the Box, hoping you wouldn't see it, I didn't see you had a gun right away. And then when we were planning, I kind of assumed... Mind if I tell my bit of the story? I won't elaborate or anything, I'll do my best to tell it how it really happened. But I think what I saw isn't quite what you thought I'd see."
