And then, Jeremy knelt down on the floor. Taking my hand he knelt down in front of me, and pulled out a small red box from one of his pockets and he opened it.
And in there was the most beautiful ring I had ever seen in all my life. It looked like a flower made out of sparkling diamonds with a big one in the middle. It was stunning.
“Alison Grace, Will you marry me?” He asked me, looking into my eyes and smiling.
And with that question my world stopped.
“I know I’ve been pretty hard on you and I’m really sorry about that. I want to spend all my life trying to prove how much I love you and how sorry I am for doing what I did.”
I was too enchanted to say anything. I had never known that this day would come.
“So will you marry me? I want to spend the rest of my life with the girl I love.”
I had to say something.
Did I even have to figure out the answer? I already knew it.
“Yes, yes, yes. A thousand times yes!” I exclaimed as Jeremy slipped the ring onto my finger. I flung his arms around his neck as soon as he got up and kissed him.
Jeremy returned the favor.
“I love you,” He murmured, softly.
“I love you too,” I said happily. I was so excited. My dreams were coming true. Everything I had dreamed about. This was like a fairytale to me.
The sun had already set now, and the stars were hidden behind the clouds. I loved this weather.
“Let’s go home.” Jeremy said taking hold of my hand with that beautiful ring on my finger.
“It’s going to rain, let’s wait a while.” I pleaded.
“Okay.” He said as he closed the open door of the cabin. The wind was still cold but to my surprise I did not mind it. I was so happy.
I looked out towards the balcony, it had started to rain lightly. I smiled to myself and then looked at Jeremy who had clearly read my mind.
“Oh come on?” He asked.
“Yes come on.” I said as I walked over to the balcony, the rain felt light on my skin. I spread my arms outwards on my sides and looked towards the sky. I could see faint stars, I smiled. I turned around to see Jeremy leaning against the door of the balcony, away from the rain.
“Come on.” I urged him pushing my hand towards him.
“What? No, I’ll get wet.” He said giving me a hysterical look.
“You are so boring.” I told him. I was soaking wet in the cold rain. It felt so good. I felt so happy.
“Jeremy, it’s not fun without you.” I said making a face.
“Come on.” I spoke before turning and pulling him in the rain with me.
“Hey, this is not….”
