Betty, Jughead, Veronica, and Archie sat in Pop's, laughing, talking, and drinking milkshakes.
"I can't believe I'm going to have a goddaughter!" Veronica said.
"I can't believe you guys are having a baby girl!" Archie said.
"I know! It's so exciting!" Betty said. Veronica held her milkshake up in the air.
"A toast, to Ava and the soon to be parents." Everyone else held their mikshakes up in the air and clinked their glasses together.
"To Ava!" They shouted in unison. After the toast, a sparkle on Betty's left ring finger caught Veronica's eye.
"Oh! My! God!" Archie, Jughead, and Betty gave her a confused look.
"Jughead? Did you propose?!" Betty laughed.
"No, V, relax. It's a just a promise ring." Veronica let out a breath.
"Thank god. I was about to say, you guys are way to young to be getting married."
"But, seriously guys. A promise ring, that's a....well, that's a big promise." Archie said.
"Well, I think it's great." Veronica stated. "It proves you guys aren't afraid for the future." Betty and Jughead smiled at each other.
"We should celebrate! Let's go to my cabin. Let's say tomorrow?" Veronica asked. Everyone agreed and finshed their meals.
