Ever heard the story of little red riding hood? Well this is basically that story but completely different.
As a child you are always told that it was the big bad wolf who followed little red to her granny's house and tried to swallow her down but what if I told you that it was all a lie? Would you believe me? Or would you say that Red was as innocent as you could ever be. I guess we'll find out soon enough...

The story of rummaging Red
once upon a time in a small stone cottage in a small stone village lived a small girl named Red, did anyone ever think it was just a coincidence that her name was Red or did you think that was a nick name? (Comment your answer). But Red wasn't your average girl, oh no. She was the village thief. She stole from anyone, it didn't matter who you were or what your status was, little Red would always find a way to slide in and rummage through your belongings, always taking the most shiny and valuable thing she could find. But one day Rummaging Red finally met her match. Granny. You may be thinking, 'how could Granny be a match for the village scoundrel??' But this lady was tough to the bone and hated the way the young Red treated everyone else. So one day the little girl came up with an idea.

She slid into the Bakers house with a twine basket resting lazily on her arm. The small child made her way towards the blazing furnace and turned to find a pile of freshly baked bread and grabbed at least three and made her way quickly back through the door with only a sigh of her startling red cape and the missing bread buns to signify that she was ever there, not that anyone would believe that she was ever caught in the act, no not Rummaging Red!

Red walked down to the forest, the only safe way through was the route through the farm, but Rummaging Red never took the easy route, especially when her reputation was on the line! So she decided on the other path. The path that took her straight through the wolf packs cave. But of course Red didn't care.

Rummaging Red stepped forward, not taking even a second to think about what the consequences might be. A few minutes later she was facet face with the Big Bad Wolf.

"Hey! Look who it is! Little Red. How ya doin' love?" He said, pulling up a log for her to sit on.

Oh didn't you know? The big bad wolf is the mischievous thieving companion of Rummaging Red! *cough**cough*PLOTTWIST*cough**cough*

The small girl took the seat with a smile on her face. "Same old same old" she said.

"Good good!" The wolf howled, "Anything been happening while I've been on vacation?"

"Not really," The thief replied. Then an idea popped into her head. "In fact," she began, "If you're looking for some fun then I have a know just the thing..."

The two carried on whispering until the wolf understood and doubled over in laughter.

"Let's go!" he shouted.

And they set of arm in arm to Granny's cottage bubbling in exited with the event to come.

---

Once they reached the stone cottage little Red told the wolf to hide outside until the time was right.

As soon as the wolf was gone Rummaging Red stepped forward and knocked on Granny's door.

"Who is it?" A quiet voice said.

"Its Red, Granny, I've brought you some bread."

"Oh how sweet of you, come in dear!" and the door swung open.

Rummaging Red gasped in shock as she was ambushed with a thick piece of rope and a very angry wolf.

'Whoops' Red thought, 'Guess I forgot about stealing the Wolfs dinner!'

The wolf laughed and gave Granny a high five.

"Serves you right ya cheeky rascal!" The wolf laughed.

"We're takin' ya into the Police."

And with that Rummaging Red as stuck behind bars for the hundreds of offences she had committed.

And every one else lived happily ever after.

THE END
