I wish
I wish I could sparkle with the stars
I wish the milky way was my home
And I could watch the stars
Burn bright around me
I wish the northern lights glimmered
To me and to only me
I wish I lived in a wide open plain
With no lights for miles
That way I could lie back
And slowly drift into sleep
Encased by the stars
I wish that Artemis would welcome me
Into her beautiful night sky
And let me rest among her hunters
I wish nyx would create more stars
So that I could admire her beautiful work
I wish Erebus would allow me to see the dark
For more than just a few hours
I wish many
Many things
But most of all
I wish the stars were always visible
As a reminder
That we are never really alone in the universe
We are just a planet
Among an immeasurable amount of stars
