Dear depression,
You've won
Are you happy
My heart no longer pumps blood
My lungs no longer breath in air
My brain no longer composes poems
Are you happy
That no one believed my sadness
My numbness
My anger
That you took over my mind
And destroyed it
Are you happy now
I'm gone
One less to worry about
Although
Now you have
My crying older brothers to deal with
And my devastated parents
My destroyed best friends
And my crushed girlfriend
You have so many more
To kill
Manipulate
And fuck with
Now
Have fun
Are you happy
You've destroyed everything
My mind held
Goodbye,
The girl who once smiled
YOU ARE READING
The silent screams of hollow children
