You defended me?
You were willing to fight for me?
Nobody fights for me
I'm the loner
The girl who goes to the library
Every other week like clock work
The girl who is passing
Every class
I don't have friends
But when I said
Someone is bullying me
Without hesitation
You replied
Where is he
Hints of anger
Threaded through your voice
Confusion evident in my face
I say
Why.
Like I couldn't
Believe
Someone would fight for me
You stopped replying
I can't tell if we're friends
We're very different people
Your popular
I'm alone
Your straight
I'm gay
We are polar opposites
Nobody can be good of a person
But thank you
Nobody fights
For the girl who seems
Like she can fight for herself
