A couple days later, I was walking thought the Seritei, I casually bumped into Ichigo.
"Ah! I'm sorry! Ichigo?"
"Hisana!" He smiled. "How's everything going?"
"Pretty good. Actually, it's been really good. Byakuya's been healing up well, and they are promoting me to Squad 5 Captain here really soon in place of Aizen.
Just hearing or even saying or thinking his name made me shiver.
Ichigo smiled. "Well that's good news! I'm sure we will see each other in the World of The Living before you know it."
"Most likely, yes."
"Lady Kusonarii?" It was someone from Squad 5. "Lieutenant Hinamori is looking for you. Can you please return to the Squad 5 barracks?"
"Alright, I'll be there."
"See ya around, Hisana."
"See ya, Ichigo."
We parted ways, and I headed back to the Squad 5 barracks. "Ma'm! Your Haiori Coat came in today. I think there's a captain's meeting as well. "
A familiar voice resonated behind Momo from the doorway.
"She is correct." I turned around and my eyes went wide in surprise.
"Byakuya!" I ran over and hugged him gently. "You're all better!"
He patted my head gently and smiled. "I am. You seem rather surprised to see me. "
"Of course! I love seeing you! I always love being around you and spending time with you."
He blushed and smiled. "Well, that makes two of us then."
I giggled and Momo handed me my haiori coat. "I'll see you later, Captain."
She smiled and flash stepped off.
"The Captain's meeting is going to start soon. Put on your haiori coat... and this.."
Byakuya handed me a crimson red scarf. "What is this for Byakuya?"
"Well... this was your father's. The head of the Kusonarii clan had always worn a crimson red scarf OR a red choker necklace if it was a female clan head. However, since your mother's necklace was destroyed from Aizen, you can at least wear the scarf. Soon, you'll be wearing a lighter color." He smiled, gently placing his forehead against mine. Our lips were close to touching.
"I knew.. that fate placed us together. I'm glad it did. I'm sorry for how I had acted before. But I hope to make it up to you every day. "
"You already have." We kissed each other softly on the lips and then looked into one another's eyes. "Your eyes.. I just can't stop looking at them."
Byakuya picked me up in his arms and flash stepped off towards the Squad 1 barracks.

When we got there, Shunsui and Jushiro were already waiting outside.
"Captain Kyoraku! Captain Ukitake!" I smiled and greeted them. "Ah, Lady Kusonarii. You've grown so much. I'm sure Kai and Ayame are really proud of you."
I smiled, gently looking down at my zanpoktou. "They are. I know it!"
"But also, call us Shunsui and Jushiro! You don't have to be so formal with us." Captain Ukitake smiled. He was one of the kindest captains in the Seritei. He had a lung problem when he was young, so that's why his hair was white, and on some Captains meetings he was usually exempt from. Captain Kyoraku was really close pals with Captain Ukitake, but they are also some of the oldest captains in the Soul Society. Head Captain Yama himself had taught those two. Meanwhile, the doors to the Squad 1 Assembly hall opened. "Hisana, wait out here until the Head Captain calls you in."
"Alright Byakuya."
"Whats the deal with you two Byakuya? Is she your girlfriend?" Captain Kyoraku teased as the three of them walked inside. "Well what's it to you?" He looked over as Captain Ukitake chimed in happily. "So you two are courting? That's exciting! Wait, weren't your families to be merged in a wedding?"
Then i didn't hear the rest of the conversation. However, as I waited outside I watched some of the other Captains file in. Soi Fong of Squad 2, also the head of the Punishment Force. Captain Unohana of Squad 4, also the leader of the Relief and Healing Divisions. Byakuya was the Captain of Squad 6. Captain Komamura was Squad 7. Shunsui was squad 8. Squad 10 was child protege Toshiro Hitsugaya, Squad 11 was taken by Kenpachi Zaraki, Squad 12: Mayuri Kurosuchi, whom was also the 2nd head of the Research and Development. Then, Captain Ukitake was Squad 13.
"Will the new Captain of Squad 5, please make her entrance." I heard Old Man Yama call from the outside. The doors opened before me, and everyone looked at my direction in shock. Except Shunsui, Jushiro, and Byakuya.
"Hello, I am Lady Hisana Kusonarii from the Kusonarii Clan. It's a pleasure to meet you all." I took my position beside Captain Komamura of Squad 7, and stood directly across from Byakuya. The Captains of even numbered squads were placed on the left side of the Head Captain when one walked into the room, whilst those with odd numbers were on the right.
"Now then. This meeting can progress. Two things that are to be addressed today is Aizen's betrayal has left three, but now two vacant Captain's seats open. So, we will need to find two candidates for those positions. Also, we may have a upcoming war on our hands once the Hogyoku awakens, so it's important that we begin to have all Captains and Vice Captains on not only high alert, but to also train as much as possible. Now then, please come in..."
Who else is coming to this meeting?!
In the doorway stood Ichigo, with Rukia and Renji behind him. "Ichigo Kurosaki. For your valiance, we would like to first of all apologize for all that has happened to your friends. Second, we would like to give you this. Captain Ukitake..."
Captain Ukitake stepped forward and smiled, handing Ichigo a Combat Pass.
"What is this?"
"It's a combat pass for Substitute Soul Reapers. When a hollow appears, it will make a noise that only you can hear, and you can use it instantly on your body to transform into a soul reaper. You can assist us with duties in Karakura Town that way. It also signifies that you are a helpful ally to the Soul Society itself. "
"Thank you all. I really appreciate this."
"Thank you, Ichigo." Captain Ukitake smiled.
They left for the time being, and the meeting went on. There was a lot of discussion about the upcoming war, and the possibilities that Aizen may be creating an army. However, that was only speculation. Soon, the Head Captain dismissed the meeting, and all the Captains dispersed.

"Hisana!" Byakuya walked up to me, gently holding my hand in his. I wasn't expecting that to happen, so a dark red blush spread across my cheeks. "Y-Yes?"
"Why don't we train together, for old times sake? We should probably bring our Lieutenants as well."
"Sure." I smiled. "For old times sake."
