Thousands of years ago, prior to the Kusonarii Clan incident, in fact prior to even the expulsion of some captains and vice captains within the Soul society. There was a group of specific individuals that were being exterminated because of what they did to souls. These beings were known as Bounts, and what they had done to a soul was rather grotesque. They would take an individual and wipe their life force (Soul) completely away.
Only a small group of them remained after the massacre by a former group of captains, but they lurk in the shadows....||||
"Hisana! You're gonna be late!" Ichigo knocked gently on the door to his closet. I opened it in a rush, with my uniform on. "I'm up! I'm up!" I ran out, downstairs, and out the door after grabbing a piece of toast quickly from Yuzu. "A good morning would have been nice, Hisana!"
"Gooood morning, Ichigo!!!" Isshin tried to jump at Ichigo, but he dodged like normal.
"Morning Ichigo!"
"Yuzu. Karin. Sorry about Hisana. She likes getting to school early.."
"She could had at least say good morning!" Yuzu huffed and crossed her arms.
"She's like Ichigo you know, rather unpredictable." Karin glanced over at Yuzu.
"Unpredictable?!" Ichigo looked over at Karin.
"Is she your girlfriend, Ichigo?" Isshin grinned. "She's got a nice...-MM!" Ichigo punched Isshin before he could finish his sentence. "Nice try, but no. She's already got a guy in her life. Mr. Kuchiki."
Yuzu and Karin looked at each other then back at Ichigo. "Mr. Kuchiki?! Isn't he a teacher?!"
"Hisana is just into older guys I guess? I don't know! Anyways, see ya around!" Ichigo left then as well.

DOWNTOWN KARAKURA: 11th District....
"Youichi and Soi Fong reporting in. Faint traces of reishi remain in some areas. Found a possible suspect. Seems to be... female? Who is she?"
They pursued a brunette female, and then had her cornered as she sank her jaw into a mans neck.
She gasped and sucked the mans life force away quickly, and he withered away to dust.
"Stop right there!"
She then dropped something, a cloud of smoke appeared around her. Once it cleared, she was gone.
"Send the information to Kisuke and the Soul Society..."
"Right away Madame Yoruichi!"

The Next Day

"Hisana..." Ichigo walked up to me as I finished my lunch. "After class, you and I need to meet up with Kisuke."
"Why's that?"
"There's been strange things going on in Karakura Town and Uryu was attacked last night. Luckily, he's okay. He's just going to be out of school for a while."
"Poor Uryu..."
"I'll see you later.."
Ichigo turned and left, being followed by Keigo and Mizuro.
Meanwhile after I finished my bento, I headed to gym class where Byakuya was substituting for our gym teacher.
The girls were doing track and field related activities and the guys were playing baseball over at the field.
"Hisana.." Byakuya was now behind me.
"Are you aware that there's strange behavior going on around here?"
"Yes. I'm meeting up with Ichigo and talking to Kisuke later on after I'm done here."
"Alright. But if anything happens and you get into trouble, I'll be there without problem."
"Thank you, Byakuya."
He pulled me to the side of the storage equipment shed and kissed me passionately, with slight roughness. "I don't want you to get hurt. I don't know what I'd do if I lost you again."
He then went over to watch the classes, and I resumed my classes for the rest of the day. After that, I left with Ichigo to meet up with Kisuke.
