I sat in Ichigo's room, working on an assignment for one of my classes. When he and I sensed a strange spiritual pressure. "Hisana."
"Yes, I sense that too. It's strong... and I've never sensed that before."It was months past Aizen's betrayal, and things had been awfully quiet for us in the World of the Living. The Soul Society gave me permission to head over to aid Ichigo and the others in case if anything would happen. Plus, we had to prepare for a war against Aizen, for once the Hogoyoku would awaken, no one knows of the caliber of its destruction.
We swallowed our Soul Candy and told our mod souls to take care of our bodies while we were away. I sensed a couple other spirtual pressures coming up on us too.
Rukia was one of them, Chad, Oriheme, and Uryu may not be far behind.
A black hole opened up in the sky. "A gargaunta?!"
Rukia was shocked, she wasn't expecting this.
The hole looked exactly like the one.. Souske used..
My eyes went wide in shock and my hands began to shake.
"Hisana?" Ichigo looked over at me. "Why are you?"
Then his eyes went wide as well. He remembered."Hisana! Stay with me! You gotta quit shaking!"
Then, I could hear someone's voice that I haven't heard in quite sometime."Hisana. It's time to let me out again! You need my power! You need me to help you!"
Had I blacked out? Was I in my inner world?
I saw my parents standing before me, smiling. It was our old house now. My little sister, Shiemi was running around, playing.
"Mom, Dad..hey.."
"Hisana! Welcome home."
Was... home my... inner world?
I thought to myself as my mother spoke once more. "You have a.. guest."
An exact copy of me walked forward, but with blue hair, a red shiksaho, and it was longer than mine.
Her eyes were pitch black with red irises. It was the hollow form of myself .
"Hisana... you need my power. Let me help you."
"No! I don't need your help!"
My hollow self grabbed my arm, grinning.
"I'm afraid I won't take no for an answer, and you can't reject my power. I'm simply a part of you."
————-
"Hisana!" Ichigo shook me as I came back to my senses, black flooding my eyes.
"Oh.. no.."
My hair changed to blue, and a mask began to form on my face. I began talking in more... seductive-like tone.
"Ichigo. Keep Rukia back."
I sped up towards the opening in the sky, and some arrancar came out. Along with one that had a 6 on his abdomen.
I wasn't quite sure what the purpose of that said 6 was for.
"So you're the tough one? A lady!?"
He had blue hair and a uniform almost similar to the soul reapers, but opposite color scheme.
There was part of a hollow mask on the side of his face. His sword crossed with mine. "You're just like me! But you're a dog of the Soul Society?" He laughed, as we continued to cross swords. "Wait. What's your name?"
"My name.. has no meaning of concern to you."
"I think I heard Lord Aizen day something about you. I'm gonna have to take you back, alive."
I laughed, and swung a blast of black and blue reishi at the arrancar that I was fighting.
"In your dreams. I'm not going anywhere. Especially not to the scum, Souske Aizen."
I thought I had him taken care of, but when I least expected it, he punched me as hard as he could in the gut, sending me back. I hit the ground hard, coughing up a little bit of blood.
Ichigo and Rukia looked back, shocked. "Hisana!"
They both said in unison as they then drew out their zanpoktou and began to fight the arrancar numbered with a 6 and the others. A couple soul reapers who were in the town came to assist as well.
Meanwhile, I was on the ground, watching all of the battles happen around me. My masked cracked, and my hair receded to its normal color.
I heard footsteps nearby me. I wanted to get up, the pain was just too much for me to bear.
Byakuya... I'm sorry I couldn't live for you. There was so much I had planned for us to do. And I was most importantly looking forward to getting to be your wife.. I thought to myself as I let the tears fall.Ironically to what I was thinking though, I looked up, seeing an immensely concerned Byakuya standing before me.
"B-Byakuya!"
"Hisana... oh my..."
Before I could say anything else, I blacked out once more.
————————————————-
It felt like hours or maybe even days until I awoke again. I looked up, seeing a ceiling of white.
Should I sit up?
"Hey! Captain Kuchiki, she's awake!"
It was Kisuke's voice so.. I must be in..
"Hey Hisana. It's been a while since you've been to Urahara Shoten! Welcome back!"
"Thanks Kisuke.. thanks Tessai! So is Byakuya here?"
Kisuke nodded. As Byakuya walked into the room.
"Come on Tessai, let's give these two some privacy for a moment."Byakuya fell to his knees immediately by my side and hugged me tightly. "Hisana..!"
"Byakuya..I!"
"I'm so glad you're not dead, but you worried me to living hell, Hisana! Do you know how saddened I would have been if you wouldn't have recovered from those injuries?! You complete me, Hisana...and I know, without you... it would had been complete hell for me."
"I'm.. so sorry Byakuya.." I started to cry. "I didn't mean to worry you. I just wanted to help protect the ones I care about most..."
"I know, Hisana. I know you care for and protect others. But you need to sometimes let others do the work. You need to sometimes rely on others for help. You can't do everything on your own..."
"I know... Bya-Kun.. ""Hisana.." Byakuya looked at me, deeply into my eyes.
"In the time that we have been together, the countless years I've know you, and so much more. Is more and more time that I want to spend with you. I want to start a family with you. I want to go on adventures with you. I want to travel, see the human world with you. There's so much I want to achieve and accomplish with you, by my side. Madame Hisana Kusonarii, will you do the absolute honors of being my wife..?" Byakuya opened the black box he held in his right hand to show an engagement ring with a cute, small diamond in it.
My eyes were wide in surprise. "Byakuya.." more tears came down, but these were happy tears. "Yes! Of course I will!"
He gently slid the ring on my finger, and we kissed each other softly.
"I can't wait.."
"Me either."And... my dreams came true..
I thought as I continued to look at Byakuya with a smile.
All of my dreams came true, with him in my life.
