September 1st, 1989. Dear Diary: I believe I'm a good person. Ya know, I think there's good in everyone, but here we are first day of senior year.

Levi walked up the steps to his high school, his backpack slung over his shoulder. He let out a sigh as he pushed open the front door, staring down the hallway. The crowded hallway had everything you could think of: kids making out, kids beating each other up, it was hell. Levi has known these kids his whole life, some of them grew up badly. Levi was one of those 'badly grown up kids.'

He thought he was a good person, but really, he was one of those kids who hated everyone around him and wanted out. He looked the part, the innocent role, that was. Well, what most people deemed as 'innocent.' Blonde hair, green eyes, tiny bit of stubble, tall, and white. It was gross. Levi knew he was lucky, as some kids had it worst. Like,The kids with those harsh nicknames.

I look around at all these kids I've known all my life and I ask myself: What happened?
Freak!

Levi glanced around and saw one of the stuck outs. Dakota. He stood against his locker, blowing a bubble from his bubblegum. He had dark brown hair that was a bit long, dark green eyes staring up at the ceiling. He was considered a freak, for a reason that shouldn't matter to anyone. Genitals, everyone was obsessed with them, for some reason. Dakota was born with a mix of both, apparently that made him a freak. He went by male pronouns, he was a rad dude. Levi had talked to him several times, he was fine.

Slut!

Levi kept walking and looked around, seeing the next victim. Taylor. He was bubbly. He chatted with his friends, grinning widely. He had dark blue hair, which was shaved a bit on one side. He had dark brown eyes and was quirky. He was bitched at for several things. He dyed his hair and was dark skinned. Should that matter? No. Does it? To some, yes. He also had piercings that, 'a boy shouldn't have,' or whatever the crap was.

Taylor wore clothing that may be considered 'feminine' as well. It suit him, really. He had a sorta punk vibe to him. Levi always found him super cool. Who cares if he wore crop tops and ripped up jeans? If he was having fun, so be it. Levi shook his head as he walked past, Taylor saying hi to him. Levi waved back at him and smiled softly, knowing Taylor didn't deserve it. Levi kept walking, keeping his eyes peeled for others.

Burnout!

Near the bathrooms, stood a shaky guy. Aka Sage, the ball of anxiety and stress. He wore his hair back on a ponytail today, his eyes shifting to and fro. He was an odd ball, to say the least. Weird name, weird habits. Some claim he's always on edge because he sells weed. Apparently, he's into witchcraft, claimed others. Levi could believe both. He wore mostly baggy clothes and had long hair, it was weird. He was weird. Sage noticed Levi and smiled weakly, waving at him a bit. Levi smiled a bit and waved back, still walking by. Sage seemed really nice, Levi couldn't deny that.

Bug-eyes!

Levi turned the corner and jumped a bit, coming face to face to huge eyes. "O-Oh, sorry!" He stammered as he stepped back, Levi catching his breath. "No, it's fine, Matthew." Levi said with a small smile, patting their shoulder. Matthew was merely a junior that had glasses too big for his small face, hence the nickname. He was jumpy and well, just adorable. Matthew blushed and quickly scurried off, leaving Levi to watch him. Levi chuckled softly to himself.
