Most teenagers are worried about their weight, their hair or how popular they are. But Sally worries about whether his mask will stay on his face to cover up his scars and imperfections.
"Dad, why do we have to move house? I know what happened, but I finally started to make some friends," Sally said sorrowfully while adjusting his beloved prosthetic mask. This mask helped cover up his face, the part of his body that he was most insecure about.
A terrible incident had happened years before, when he was only 5 years old, but we will get on to this later.
"You know why Sal, I think this is best for both of us and it will help us forgive and forget," Henry Fisher said quietly, wiping his nose on his sleeve.
Sallys mother recently died mysteriously and his father couldn't cope with the pain of living in her house and staying her room so they decided to move to Addison Apartments.
Addison Apartments was similar to a hotel, and housed a lot of strange residents.
As they dragged their suitcases along the grey pavement, Sally saw a huge sign reading 'ADDISON APARTMENTS' and lead his father down the pathway leading down to the entrance.
