~Chapter 38~

Sally and Larry left earlier than the others in the hope that they would be able to spend some extra time together. They both got home and Sally collapsed on the bed, he was very tired, even though it was only early.
Larry looked at himself in the mirror that was opposite the bed, "damn I look bad today," he chuckled to himself and rolled his eyes.
"You never look bad Larry face, just look at me," Sally smiled and pulled off his mask, he placed it carefully on the bedside table.
"You're are definitely not ugly, Sally Face, those scars make you beautiful, they make you unique."
Sally bit his lip and crawled underneath the blanket, pulling his shirt over his head and threw it across the room somewhere.
"Hurry up and climb in, it's cold."
"Fine, I'm coming," Larry finished checking himself out and then took his shirt off, joining Sally under the covers.
Sally immediately put his head on Larry's chest and wrapped his arm around his stomach, Larry wrapped his arm around Sally's back and pulled him closer to him.
"I'm so glad I met you, Sal," Larry smirked and patted Sally's hair.
"Me too," Sally snuggled closer into his side.
"I love you." Larry closed his eyes and took a deep breathe.
"I love you more."
"No you don't."
"I do."
"You don't."
"I do."
"Fuck you."
"Harsh," Sally sniggered.
"You know I don't mean it," Larry turned onto his side and moved himself so their faces were inches apart from each other.
Sally could feel Larry's warm breath on his face.
Larry leaned his head forward to give Sally a quick yet affectionate peck on the lips, before pulling him into his chest and squeezing him tightly.
"Sally?" Larry said quietly.
"Yes?"
"I hope that I can spend the rest of my life with you, I can't wait to walk you down the aisle."
Sally blushed at the thought of marrying Larry, "me neither, so why wait?"
"Huh?" Larry tilted his head, Sally could hear Larry's heart beat increase.
"Why wait?" Sally smiled, "we should just... spend the rest of our lives together."
"Are you sure you're ready for that?"
"I'm positive, and I couldn't imagine a better person to start a future with," Sally beamed and wrapped his arms around Larry, pulling himself closer to him.
Sally closed his eyes and appreciated the embrace.
Larry placed his head on Sally's head, kissing it gently.
Sally was ready for what the future held for him, but right now, he had nothing to worry about because everything was....
